| The highlights of the day were a Franklin's Gull in Cornwall at Hayle, and a Spotted Sandpiper at Marloes Mere, Pembrokeshire.
Notable waders included the Hudsonian Godwit showing again in Flintshire albeit elusive, Lesser Yellowlegs still in Northamptonshire, White-rumped Sandpiper still in Moray, and lingering Semipalmated Sandpipers in County Cork, Cornwall, and West Sussex. Rarities elsewhere comprised a Fea's Petrel species passing Bridges of Ross, County Clare, the Canvasback still in Essex, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Lesser Grey Shrike and Citrine Wagtail both still on the Shetland Isles, Blue-winged Teal in East Yorkshire, Caspian Tern in West Yorkshire, Black Kite in County Wexford, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| New discoveries today included a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Owenahincha, County Cork, a Lesser Yellowlegs on Benbecula, Western Isles and a Citrine Wagtail at Spurn, Yorkshire.
Lingering rarities included the Hudsonian Godwit in Cheshire, Semipalmated Sandpipers in Sussex and Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpipers in Yorkshire and Moray, Lesser Yellowlegs in Northamptonshire, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Citrine Wagtail in Shetland, Alpine Swift in Western Isles, Black Kite in County Wexford, Caspian Tern in Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |

| The highlight of the day was the return of the Hudsonian Godwit to Burton Mere Wetlands, Cheshire. Other Nearctic shorebirds today included the Baird's Sandpiper still in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs still in Northamptonshire, Semipalmated Sandpipers in Cornwall at Hayle Estuary and still in West Sussex, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Kerry at Ventry, and still in both Moray and East Yorkshire.
Other new rarities today included a Tawny Pipit in Kent that flew over Abbot's Cliff, and a Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire at Belvide Reservoir where it had first been glimped yesterday. Otherwise, lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Grey Shrike on the Shetland Isles, Black Kite in County Wexford, Blue-winged Teal in East Yorkshire, Caspian Tern in West Yorkshire, Alpine Swift on the Western Isles, Black-winged Stilt in East Sussex, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire. |

| A Black Kite was at Tacumshin, County Wexford.

| A Caspian Tern was found at Pegwell Bay in Kent where a possible Brown Booby flew past Minnis Bay. Other seawatching produced a Fea's Petrel sp past Annagh Head in County Mayo and a probable Scopoli's Shearwater past Bridges of Ross in County Clare. A Black Kite was at Shapwick Heath in Somerset briefly this morning.

| The highlight of the day was a Hudsonian Godwit in Cheshire at Burton Mere Wetlands, where it had first been seen yesterday. Elsewhere, a Lesser Grey Shrike was new on the Shetland Isles at Channerwick, Mainland, a Fea's Petrel species and a Scopoli's Shearwater passed Bridges of Ross, County Clare, and a Fea's Petrel species was off the Skellig Islands, County Kerry.
Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Canvasback in Essex, Stejneger's Scoter and Baird's Sandpiper both in Lothian, Semipalmated Sandpiper in West Sussex, Caspian Tern in West Yorkshire, Alpine Swift on the Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in Northamptonshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Ferruginous Ducks in both Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire. |

| The highlight of the day was confirmation that the Canvasback returned to Abberton Reservoir, Essex yesterday and remained there today.
Rarities elsewhere comprised Cliff Swallows on the Isles of Scilly and the Western Isles, Stejneger's Scoter and Baird's Sandpiper both still in Lothian, Semipalmated Sandpiper in West Sussex, Caspian Tern in Fife and West Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Northamptonshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and County Wexford, Alpine Swift briefly in East Sussex, Ferruginous Ducks in Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Cliff Swallow on the Western Isles on St Kilda whilst another Cliff Swallow remained on the Isles of Scilly. Elsewhere, a Caspian Tern was briefly in West Yorkshire at Swillington Ings, and a Lesser Yellowlegs was found at Lilbourne, Northamptonshire.
Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were both Stejneger's Scoter and Baird's Sandpiper in Lothian, Semipalmated Sandpiper in West Sussex, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk (six), County Wexford, and East Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire. |
