| The Azorean Yellow-legged Gull reappeared at Annagh Marsh, County Mayo today, whilst a Red-rumped Swallow was briefly at West Rise Marsh, East Sussex.
Lingering rarities included the Marmora's Warbler in Shetland, Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Mayo, Least Tern in County Dublin, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo and Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire. |

| New discoveries today included a Marmora's Warbler on Fair Isle, Shetland, Red-footed Falcon at Sanday, Orkney, Iberian Chiffchaff at Woodgreen, Hampshire, Thrush Nightingale at Millfield, Shetland, and Black Kites at Snape Warren in Suffolk, and Frampton Marsh in Lincolnshire.
Lingering rarities included the Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Mayo, Rustic Bunting in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, Black-winged Stilt in Norfolk, and Red-footed Falcons in Kent and Lincolnshire. |

| New discoveries today included a Caspian Tern at Cobh, County Cork, a Red-throated Pipit at Maywick, Shetland, an Alpine Swift at Kilcoole, County Wicklow, a Black-winged Stilt at Potter Heigham Norfolk and a Red-footed Falcon at Saltfleetby, Lincolnshire.
Lingering rarities included the Yellow-crowned Night Heron and Elegant Tern in County Mayo, Rustic Bunting in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and Red-footed Falcon in Kent. |

| New discoveries today included a Red-footed Falcon in Kent at Hope Point, Blyth's Reed Warblers in Shetland at Burravoe, County Durham at Hendon, Norfolk at Sheringham, and Argyll at Balephuil, Tawny in Shetland on Fair Isle, and Alpine Swift in Norfolk at Blakeney Point.
Lingering rarities still present included the Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Galway, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, Red-rumped Swallow in Shetland, Least Tern in County Dublin, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, Savi's Warbler in East Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcons in Kent and Cumbria, Black-winged Stilt Lincolnshire, and American Black Tern in Northumberland. |

| The first Yellow-crowned Night Heron for Ireland, first seen several months ago by local residents, was at Belcarra, County Mayo, and was seen by visiting birders this evening. The first Green Warbler for Northumberland was found on Holy Island, and the second Crag Martin for Cornwall (following the first for Britain in 1988) was near St Ives.
A Little Bittern was also in Cornwall, at Kenidjack Valley, with other new discoveries including Rustic Buntings on Out Skerries and Foula, both Shetland, Blyth's Reed Warblers at Blakeney and Winterton, both Norfolk, a Red-rumped Swallow at Bockhill, Kent and a Red-footed Falcon at Swinister, Shetland. Lingering rarities still present included the Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, two Rustic Buntings and a Subalpine Warbler species in Shetland, two Red-footed Falcons in Kent and one in Cumbria, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth and American Black Tern in Northumberland. |

| New discoveries today included Red-rumped Swallows in Shetland at Loch of Brow, and Angelsey at Cemlyn Bay, Rustic Buntings in Shetland on both Fair Isle and Foula, Great Reed Warblers in Fife at Fife Ness, North Yorkshire at Wheldrake, and Shetland on Fair Isle, Black-winged Stilts in Essex at East Tilbury(2), and Norfolk at Snettisham, and a Subalpine Warbler in Shetland also on Fair Isle.
Lingering rarities included the Semipalmated Sandpiper in Western Isles, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black Kite in Western Isles, Red-footed Falcon in Cumbria and three in Kent, Savi's Warblers in East Yorkshire, Red-rumped Swallows in Shetland and Anglesey, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, and Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire. |

| New discoveries today included a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Steinis, Western Isles, Spotted Redshank at Queen Mother Reservoir, Berks, Red-footed Falcon at Denver in Norfolk, and another Red-footed Falcon at Worth in Kent.
Lingering rarities included the Green Warbler in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black Kite in Western Isles, Red-footed Falcon in Cumbria and two in Kent, Savi's Warblers in Leicestershire and East Yorkshire, Red-rumped Swallow in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Lesser Scaup in West Yorkshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Lesser Yellowlegs and Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire and Rustic Bunting in Northumberland. |

| New discoveries today included a Western Subalpine Warbler at North Foreland, Kent, Rustic Buntings at Newcastle, Northumberland and Sandness, Shetland, a Red-rumped Swallow at Toab, Shetland and Red-footed Falcons at Sandwich (two) and Langdon Cliffs, both Kent and at Raby, Cumbria.
Lingering rarities included the Green Warbler and Thrush Nightingale in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler and Red-footed Falcon in Cambridgeshire, Elegant Tern in County Mayo, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black Kite in Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs and Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |

| Highlights today consisted of a Green Warbler in Shetland at Valyie, Unst, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Shetland on Fair Isle, Black Kite in Western Isles on Barra, Citrine Wagtail in Highland at Balnakeil, Eastern Subalpine Warbler and Thrush Nightingale in Shetland at Hillwell, and recent news of Indigo Bunting in Pembrokeshire.
Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Savi's Warbler on territory in East Yorkshire, Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire, Red-footed Falcon in Cambridgeshire, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, and a further Thrush Nightingale in Shetland. |

| Mind-boggling news today of an Indian Golden Oriole in Northumberland on Holy Island where it was present all morning and early afternoon but, unfortunately, was lost from view before it was identified. The breeding range of this migratory species includes Central Asia with all birds wintering in the Indian Subcontinent and so is similar to other extreme rarities on the British List (Long-tailed Shrike and Sulphur-bellied Warbler) and European List (Pied Bush Chat and Hume's Whitethroat).
Discoveries elsewhere included a Thrush Nightingale on the Shetland Isles at Moarfield, a Great Reed Warbler in Essex at The Naze, the first Blyth's Reed Warbler of the year in East Yorkshire at Kilnsea, and in County Dublin the Least Tern returned to Portrane for at least a fourth summer. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Pacific Diver in County Cork, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Savi's Warblers still on territory in Leicestershire and East Yorkshire, Great Reed Warbler and Red-footed Falcon in Cambridgeshire, Red-breasted Goose and Black-winged Stilt still together in Lincolnshire, and at least three Black Kites around west Cornwall. |
