| The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Elegant Tern in County Mayo on Achill Island whilst in West Yorkshire a Black-winged Stilt arrived at Swillington Ings, and in Nottinghamshire a Black Kite was reported at Hoveringham.
Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the territorial Savi's Warbler still in East Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Norfolk and County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and in Lincolnshire Red-breasted Goose, Lesser Yellowlegs, and Black-winged Stilt were all together at Frampton Marsh. |

| The new discoveries today were an Eastern Subalpine Warbler at Holme in Norfolk, and a Black-winged Stilt that flew from Hulcott to College Lake in Buckinghamshire.

| The new discovery today was a Black-winged Stilt at Hook Links in Hampshire, Pallid Harrier at Garso, North Ronaldsay, and late news Black Kite at Lady's Island Lake in County Wexford.

| Discoveries today included late news of a Pallid Harrier at East Coast NR in County Wicklow, White-billed Diver that flew north past Whitburn in County Durham, and later St.Mary's Island in Northumberland, Red-rumped Swallow at Formby Point in Merseyside, two Gull-billed Terns at Orosay in Western Isles, Iberian Chiffchaff at Ken Hill in Norfolk, and Bee-eater in Hermon in Anglesey.

| Discoveries today included a Slate-coloured Junco in Cleveland at Hartlepool, a Blue-winged Teal on the Shetland Isles at Scatness, Mainland, Pallid Harrier in Highland at Durness, Black Kite on the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, Red-rumped Swallow in Kent at Worth Marsh, and a Lesser Scaup in County Donegal at Blanket Nook.
Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Marsh Sandpiper in Hampshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Savi's Warbler in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Black-winged Stilt together in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, White-billed Diver in Moray, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and County Louth (2). |

| The first modern day Little Crake for Surrey was discovered at Papercourt Water Meadows mid morning but, unfortunately, it wasn't seen subsequently. A male Kentish Plover was new at Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset and a Cackling Goose was on North Uist, Western Isles.
Lingering rarities still present included the Marsh Sandpiper in Hampshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs and Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaup in Perth and Kinross, Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk and Lincolnshire and White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire (three) and Moray (two). |

| Sunday 21st April 2024 | ||

| A male Red-footed Falcon was found on Scilly today, whilst in Cambridgeshire a female Ferrunginous Duck was found at Fen Drayton Lakes and two White-billed Divers were new at Skigersta on Lewis, Western Isles.
Seven or more White-billed Divers were seen from a boat trip off Aberdeenshire with further birds seen off the Moray coast. Frampton Marsh in Lincolnshire still held Lesser Yellowlegs, Black-winged Stilt and Red-breasted Goose with another Red-breasted Goose still in north Norfolk along with the Long-billed Dowitcher. Other lingering rarities included Marsh Sandpiper in Hampshire, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaup in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Bonaparte's Gulls in Carmarthenshire and Dorset and Ferruginous Duck in Kent. |
