| New discoveries today included a Bufflehead on Loch Leven, Perth and Kinross, a Red-flanked Bluetail on Fair Isle, Shetland, a Red-rumped Swallow at Christchurch Harbour, Dorset and a second White-billed Diver joined the lingering bird off Portsoy, Aberdeenshire.
Other lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Rustic Bunting and Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, White-winged Scoter in County Kerry, Lesser Scaups in Essex (two), Cheshire and Clyde, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford, County Wicklow and Norfolk and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and County Louth. |
