The White-crowned Sparrow was again present at Rosudgeon in west Cornwall but the Isabelline Wheatear was not seen in Dorset. Other lingering rarities included Red-breasted Geese in Lancashire and Essex, a Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaups in Devon (four), Clyde and the Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Bonaparte's Gull in County Galway and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall. |

A White-crowned Sparrow was found today in a garden at Rosudgeon in west Cornwall. However, access tomorrow may not be straightforward. Also in the south west, an Isabelline Wheatear was found near Kimmeridge in Dorset. A Bonaparte's Gull was found at Ballyconneely in County Galway and a Red-breasted Goose was at Banks Marsh in Lancashire. Lingering rarities reported today comprised the Canvasback in Essex, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, seven Lesser Scaup - five together still on the Devon/Cornwall border plus singles in Clyde and the Western Isles, Ferrugnous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall and Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk |

The highlights were the discovery of a Dusky Warbler in Cornwall at Drift Reservoir, and a Couses's Arctic Redpoll in Shetland on Unst at Baltasound. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Canvasback in Essex, at least one Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk, Cape May Warber on Scilly, five White-billed Divers on Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, White-winged Scoter in County Kerry, Lesser Scaup in Western Isles, and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk |

The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan at Penclawdd and Llanrhidian Marsh, whilst a White-billed Diver was on the Shetland Isles at Walls, Mainland, and five Lesser Scaups together in Devon at Lower Tamar Lake were confirmed as present for a second day. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Canvasback in Essex, Red-breasted Geese in both Essex and Northumberland, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, and at least one Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk. |

| New discoveries today consisted of a Red-breasted Goose at Gartnatra, Argyll, four Lesser Scaup at Slapton, Devon, Ferruginous Duck at Bluntisham, Cambridgeshire, and Long-billed Dowitcher at Tacumshin in County Wexford.
Lingering rarities included the Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Canvasback in Essex, #### in Argyll, Lesser Scaup in Devon, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs' in Suffolk and Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Red-headed Bunting and Blue-winged Teal in East Yorkshire, and two Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk. |
