| A Brunnich's Guillemot was found at St Abb's Head in Borders mid afternoon. In Norfolk, Pallid Harriers were at Waxham and Warham and a Pallid Swift was at Blakeney, with another of the latter at Noup Head, Orkney. An Arctic Redpoll was at Knockintorran, Western Isles and a Dusky Warbler was on Bryher, Scilly.
Lingering rarities seen today included the Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Essex, Baird's Sandpiper in County Cork, Grey-cheeked Thrush in Scilly, Dusky Warbler in Yorkshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in Aberdeenshire, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Shetland, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, two Lesser Scaup in Cornwall and Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland. |

The highlight of the day was the reppearance of the Brown Booby in Cleveland at Hartlepool Headland and later South Gare before reappearing in Filey Bay, North Yorkshire. Discoveries today included a Spotted Sandpiper in County Antrim at Belfast Lough, a Bonaparte's Gull in Argyll on Islay, and now three Coues's Arctic Redpolls together on Unst, Shetland Isles. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Red-headed Bunting in East Yorkshire, Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Grey-cheeked Thrush on the Isles of Scilly, Pacific Diver and Baird's Sandpiper in County Cork, Squacco Heron in Somerset, Red-breasted Goose in Highland, Red-flanked Bluetail in Aberdeenshire, Pallid Swift in Dumfries and Galloway, White-billed Diver in Moray, Ferruginous Duck in Dorset, and Lesser Scaup and Ferruginous Duck together in County Donegal. |

The first day of November brought news of four Coues's Arctic Redpolls on the Shetland Isles, two on Unst at Baltasound, and two on Mainland: one at Hillwell, one at Brae, whilst elsewhere in Scotland a Dusky Warbler was found in Borders at Mire Loch. In Ireland, a Lesser Scaup in County Donegal at Inch Island, and in England a Ferruginous Duck in Suffolk flew past Landguard. On the Isles of Scilly the Grey-cheeked Thrush and five Yellow-browed Warblers remained on St Mary's where a Red-breasted Flycatcher and Little Bunting were found. Lingering rarities elsewhere confirmed as still present were Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Northern Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Squacco Heron in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Essex, Ferruginous Ducks in County Donegal and Dorset, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall (2), Devon, and Pembrokeshire, Red-throated Pipit on the Orkney Isles, a further Arctic Redpoll on Shetland, Red-flanked Bluetail in Aberdeenshire in Aberdeen, and two Dusky Warblers in East Yorkshire. |

The highlight of the day was news of a Siberian Rubythroat on the Shetland Isles on Foula with nearby an Arctic Redpoll new on Bressay. Discoveries elsewhere comprised a Red-throated Pipit on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay, a Red-flanked Bluetail in Aberdeenshire at Aberdeen, Pallid Swift in Suffolk at Benacre, Ridgway's Cackling Goose in Northumberland at Budle Bay, Ferruginous Duck in Dorset at Lodmoor, and Lesser Scaups in Pembrokeshire at Bosherston and in Kinross at Loch Leven. On the Isles of Scilly the Grey-cheeked Thrush and Yellow-browed Warbler remained on St Mary's, Dusky Warbler on St Agnes, and Sabine's Gull and 284 Great Shearwaters at sea from the Scillonian. Lingering rarities elsewhere confirmed as still present were both Red-headed Bunting and Dusky Warbler in East Yorkshire, Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Red-breasted Goose and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Squacco Herons in Cornwall and Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Essex, Ferruginous Duck in County Donegal, King Eider on the Western Isles, two Lesser Scaups together in Cornwall, and two White-billed Divers in Lothian. |

Dicoveries today included a Red-throated Pipit in West Sussex at Climping, and now three Dusky Warblers in Northumberland: one each at Bamburgh, Budle Bay, and on Holy Island. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Red-headed Bunting, Two-barred Greenish Warbler, and two Dusky Warblers in Northumberland, Dusky Warbler in East Yorkshire, Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Western Rufous Turtle Dove on the Orkney Isles, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Squacco Heron in Somerset, Spotted Sandpiper in County Kerry, Olive-backed Pipit on the Shetland Isles, Dusky Warbler in County Durham, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Cornwall and East Sussex, Blue-winged Teal in East Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, White-billed Diver in Lothian, and nine Lesser Scaups in Cornwall. On the Isles of Scilly the Grey-cheeked Thrush and Glossy Ibis remained on St Mary's, Dusky Warbler on St Agnes, Little Bunting on Tresco, with around the islands Pomarine Skua, Leach's Petrel, two Waxwings, 11 Yellow-browed Warblers, and 16 Great Shearwaters. The highlight of the day was a record arrival of 10 Lesser Scaups together in Cornwall at Drift Reservoir with a further two at Dozmary Pool, and a Pacific Golden Plover nearby at Colliford Lake. Elsewhere, a Penduline Tit was new in Somerset at Portbury Wharf, as was a Dusky Warbler in Northumberland on Holy Island, a White-billed Diver in Lothian at Musselburgh, and Pallid Swifts in Lincolnshire at Far Ings (2), Gibraltar Point, and Huttoft Bank (2), and East Yorkshire at both Flamborough Head and Hornsea. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were Red-headed Bunting, Two-barred Greenish Warbler, Blue-winged Teal, and three Dusky Warblers all in East Yorkshire, Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Upland Sandpiper and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Grey-cheeked Thrush and Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Western Rufous Turtle Dove and Coues's Arctic Redpoll together on the Orkney Isles, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Spotted Sandpiper in County Kerry, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Bonaparte's Gull in Highland, and Squacco Herons in both Somerset and the Western Isles. |

| A Western Rufous Turtle Dove was discovered at North Ronaldsay on Orkney, a White-billed Diver at St.Abbs in Borders, Dusky Warblers, at Easington and Flamborough, East Yorkshire, Red-throated Pipit at Toft on Mainland Shetland, Paddyfield Warbler on St.Mary's, Scilly, Cliff Swallow at Bangor in County Down. Four Pallid Swifts in Norfolk (3) and East Yorkshire (1).
The Two-barred Greenish Warbler at Flamborough Head in East Yorkshire, Stilt Sandpiper at Crook of Baldoon in Dumfries and Galloway, Pacific Diver at Crookhaven in County Cork, Caspian Stonechat at Brotton in Cleveland were all still present today. More lingering rarities still present included the Upland Sandpiper and Long-billed Dowitchers in Cornwall and County Waterford, Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Spotted Sandpiper in County Kerry, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, County Louth, Cumbria, and Essex, King Eider at Western Isles, Squacco Heron in Somerset, Coues's Arctic Redpoll on Orkney, Dusky Warblers in Suffolk and County Durham and White-billed Divers in Lothian and Moray. |

| A Two-barred Greenish Warbler was discovered at Flamborough Head, Yorkshire, with Red-headed Bunting, Radde's Warbler, Dusky Warbler and Pallas's Warbler all on site. A Grey-cheeked Thrush was on St Mary's, Scilly.
Other new discoveries today included a Stilt Sandpiper at Crook of Baldoon, Dumfries and Galloway, a Caspian Stonechat at Brotton, Cleveland, a Dusky Warbler at Spurn, Yorkshire, a Coues's Arctic Redpoll on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Pallid Swift at Corton, Suffolk, a Pacific Diver at Crookhaven, County Cork, a King Eider at Butt of Lewis, Western Isles and a Bonaparte's Gull at Portree, Highland.
