New discoveries today consisted of four Wilson's Petrels in County Cork at Galley Head, County Cork at Toe Head, a Kentish Plover in Kent at Pegwell Bay, and three Bee-eaters in Suffolk flew over Aldeburgh. Rarities elsewhere included the Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Forster's Tern in Dorset, 16 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10), and Kent (6), Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, two Caspian Terns in County Wexford and Norfolk respectively, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, and Long-billed Dowitcher also in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included three Purple Herons in Cornwall, Red-backed Shrike in Orkney, Surf Scoter in Angus. Some impressive seawatching conditions today yielded at least 2000 Cory's Shearwaters, 175 Great Shearwaters, six Balearic Shearwaters, and six Pomarine Skuas. |

New discoveries today consisted of both a White-rumped Sandpiper and a Caspian Tern in County Wexford at Tacumshin Rarities elsewhere included the Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 11 Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire (5), and Kent (6), Least Tern in County Dublin, three Caspian Tern in County Cork, County Wexford and Norfolk respectively, Pacific Golden Plover in Orkney, King Eider in Lothian, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, and Long-billed Dowitcher also in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included a Pectoral Sandpiper in Cambridgeshire, six Temminck's Stint in Kent, American Golden Plover in Pembrokeshire, Rosefinch in East Yorkshire, Surf Scoter in Angus, and a Serin in Dorset. |

| Lingering rarities seen today included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Caspian Terns in Norfolk and County Cork, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal, Pacific Golden Plover in Orkney, ten Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, King Eider in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and a Wilson's Petrel was seen from the Scilly pelagic.
Scarcity highlights included a Common Rosefinch, three Pectoral Sandpipers, three Glossy Ibises, four Great Shearwaters, nine Balearic Shearwaters, 13 Cory's Shearwaters, up to eight Pomarine Skuas, two Sabine's Gulls and a Glaucous Gull. |

New discoveries today included a Wilson's Petrel in County Cork off Cape Clear, and a Bee Eater in Suffolk near Higham. Rarities elsewhere included the Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 21 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10), South Yorkshire (5), and Kent (6), Forster's Tern in Dorset, two Caspian Tern in County Cork and Norfolk respectively, and Long-billed Dowitcher aslo in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included a Tundra Bean Goose, six Glossy Ibises, three Pectoral Sandpipers, 11 Great Shearwaters, nine Balearic Shearwaters, two Glaucous Gulls, Long-tailed Skua, Marsh Warbler, eight Roseate Terns, and 18 Cory's Shearwaters. |

The highlight today was once again the Black-winged Kite which remained in Essex at St Osyth. Other discoveries today included the identification confirmation of a Black-headed Wagtail in County Derry at Myroe Levels, and a Baltic Gull in Cheshire at Widnes. Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 22 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10), South Yorkshire (6), and Kent (6), Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, two Caspian Tern in County Cork and Norfolk respectively, and Long-billed Dowitcher aslo in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included a Serin, three Glossy Ibises, two Pectoral Sandpipers, seven Great Shearwaters, 21 Balearic Shearwaters, Glaucous Gull, Ring-necked Duck, seven Night Herons, five Roseate Terns, and 156 Cory's Shearwaters. |

| In Suffolk, the Black-winged Kite was present in the King's Fleet area until mid morning only. It was relocated at St Osyth, Essex in the evening.
The Forster's Tern reappeared at Wareham, Dorset and a Gull-billed Tern was again present at Tacumshin, County Wexford. Other lingering rarities included the Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal, Least Tern in County Dublin, single Caspian Terns at Potter Heigham, Norfolk, Rogerstown Estuary, County Dublin and The Gearagh, County Cork, ten Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire and Long-billed Dowitcher and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included a Marsh Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Serins, four Glossy Ibises, five Night Herons, two Pectoral Sandpipers, a Ring-necked Ducks, a Surf Scoter and a Tundra Bean Goose. |

The highlight today was once again the mobile Black-winged Kite which was discovered in Suffolk at Felixstowe Ferry. Discoveries today included a Caspian Tern in County Cork at The Gearagh, two Bee-eaters flew over Polgigga at Cornwall, nine Wilson's Petrels from pelagics off County Cork and Cornwall, late news today was two Bee-eaters that made a failed breeding attempt at an undisclosed site in Greater Manchester. Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 16 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10) and South Yorkshire (6), 3 Bee-eaters and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included six Roseate Terns, three Balearic Shearwaters, two Pectoral Sandpipers, Melodious Warbler, Honey Buzzard, Sabine's Gull, Ring-necked Duck, four Night Herons, and 52 Cory's Shearwaters. |

The highlight today was once again the re-emergance of the mobile Black-winged Kite in the Norfolk Broads, lingering around Horsey late morning as well as at the end of the day Discoveries today included an Alpine Swift in Cornwall at Pendeen, and the brief appearance of a Caspian Tern in Norfolk at Horsey. Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, Pacific Golden Plover in County Cork, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal seven Black-winged Stilts in Kent (6) and Gloustershire (1), Orange-billed Tern sp in Devon, three Bee-Eaters in Norfolk, and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included five Roseate Terns, four Balearic Shearwaters, Pectoral Sandpiper, Great Shearwater, American Golden Plover, two Honey Buzzards, two Ring-necked Ducks, Red-backed Shrike, two Rose-coloured Starlings, and 20 Cory's Shearwaters. |

The highlight of the day was the Black-winged Kite that remained overnight in Norfolk at Hickling Broad before departing northwest over Trimingham mid morning. Breaking news today included an unidentified orange-billed tern species in Devon at Northam Burrows, a Gull-billed Tern in County Cork at Kilkeran Lake, a Caspian Tern in Northamptonshire at Hollowell Reservoir, two Ferruginous Ducks together in Warwickshire at Draycote Water, and Wilson's Petrels in Cornwall and at sea off the Western Isles. Other lingering rarities confirmed as still present were both the Least Tern and Caspian Tern in County Dublin, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal, Pacific Golden Plover in County Cork, Long-billed Dowitcher, Lesser Scaup, and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, King Eider in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Black-winged Stilts in Kent (6), Gloucestershire, and Lincolnshire (10), and in Cornwall the Barolo Shearwater was again reported passing Porthgwarra for a fifth consecutive day. Scarcities included Temminck's Stint (Derbyshire), Ring-necked Duck (Glamorgan), two each of American Golden Plover, Pectoral Sandpiper, Night Heron, and Rose-coloured Starling, three Glossy Ibises, and a total of 70 Cory's Shearwaters. |

Sensational news this evening of a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk at Hickling Broad; this follows the first for Britain present at Glanmule, Powys on 18th April. Other discoveries today included a Pacific Golden Plover confirmed in County Cork at Ballycotton, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire at Misson, two Bee-eaters in Cornwall at Land's End, and a Wilson's Petrel at sea off Slea Head, County Kerry. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Black-winged Pratincole still in County Donegal, Least Tern and Caspian Tern in County Dublin, Long-billed Dowitchers in Lancashire and Norfolk, King Eider in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (11), and South Yorkshire (6). Scarcities included Short-toed Lark and Red-backed Shrike (Orkney Isles), American Golden Plover (Pembrokeshire), Purple Heron (Northumberland), Rose-coloured Starling (Argyll), American Wigeon (Lincolnshire), Ring-necked Duck (Glamorgan), Glossy Ibis (Norfolk), two each of both Night Heron and Cory's Shearwater, and four Pectoral Sandpipers. |
