Rarities elsewhere comprised the Black Duck still in County Mayo, King Eider still in Aberdeenshire, three Bee-eaters still together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (6), and South Yorkshire (8). Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Northumberland), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), Icterine Warbler (Shetland Isles), Night Heron (Cambridgeshire), Temminck's Stint (County Durham), Pectoral Sandpiper (Orkney Isles), Glossy Ibis (Essex), two each of both Great Shearwater and Ring-necked Duck, and four Marsh Warblers. |

Lingering rarities included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (ten), Yorkshire (eight) and Gloucestershire and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, a Common Rosefinch, two Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Glossy Ibis, a Night Heron, two Purple Herons, two Great Shearwaters, ten Cory's Shearwaters, a Pomarine Skua, a White-winged Black Tern and a Surf Scoter. |

Rarities today comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, the American Black Tern still in Northumberland, Bee-eaters in Devon and Norfolk (3), and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire, and South Yorkshire (7). Scarcities included White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), American Golden Plover (Norfolk), Montagu's Harrier (Lincolnshire), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Purple Heron (County Cork), Red-backed Shrike (Aberdeenshire), Ring-necked Duck (Suffolk), Glossy Ibis (County Wexford), two Great Shearwaters, and four Marsh Warblers. |

| New discoveries today included a Western Subalpine Warbler on Skokholm, Pembrokshire and a Black Kite at Bockhill Farm, Kent.
Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Great Reed Warbler and Savi's Warbler in Cleveland, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire and Yorkshire(two) and White-billed Diver in Highland. Scarcity highlights included a Golden Oriole, a White-spotted Bluethroat, two Common Rosefinches, six Marsh Warblers, a Pectoral Sandpiper, an American Golden Plover, three Honey Buzzards, a Night Heron, two Purple Herons, a Ring-necked Duck, two Surf Scoters, a White-winged Black Tern and an Iceland Gull. |

| An adult Franklin's Gull was discovered at Holland Haven Country Park, Essex mid morning, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Mossbank, Mainland, Shetland.
Lingering rarities included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (six) and Yorkshire (two), three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Savi's Warbler in Cleveland, King Eider in Aberdeenshire and White-billed Diver in Highland. Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, a Golden Oriole, a Common Rosefinch, two Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, two Pectoral Sandpipers, a Surf Scoter, a Glossy Ibis, two Night Herons, two Purple Herons, four Honey Buzzards, a Great Shearwater, two Pomarine Skuas, a Sabine's Gull and a Glaucous Gull. |

Discoveries today included a Bonaparte's Gull on the Orkney Isles on Papa Westray and in Somerset a Black Kite reported at Ham Wall. Rarities elsewhere comprised the American Black Tern still in Northumberland, Savi's Warbler and Great Reed Warbler still together in Cleveland, Black Kite in North Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, White-billed Diver in Highland, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire and South Yorkshire (2). Discoveries today included a Red-footed Falcon in Suffolk at Boyton Marshes and a Black Kite at Elvington, North Yorkshire. Elsewhere lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler and Great Reed Warbler together in Cleveland, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, both Lesser Scaup and White-billed Diver in Highland, Blyth's Reed Warbler on the Shetland Isles, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (4), Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included Woodchat Shrike (Northumberland), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), American Golden Plover (Norfolk), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Golden Oriole (Shetland), Ring-necked Duck (Clyde), two Glossy Ibises, three Night Herons, and four Marsh Warblers. |

Discoveries today included a Red-footed Falcon in Kent at Dungeness, a White-billed Diver on the Western Isles on Barra, and Wilson's Petrels at sea off County Cork and the Isles of Scilly. Otherwise rarities comprised the Little Crake still in song in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler still in Cleveland, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Lincolnshire), Serin (Dorset), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), American Golden Plover and Rose-coloured Starling (Norfolk), Icterine Warbler and Grey-headed Wagtail (Shetland Isles), Hoopoe (Highland), Purple Heron (Bedfordshire), Glossy Ibis (Cambridgeshire), two Ring-necked Ducks, three Night Herons, and five Marsh Warblers. |

Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Great Reed Warbler in Cleveland, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Shetland, five Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford and Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire (two), Lincolnshire (six), Norfolk (two) and Gloucestershire. Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, an Icterine Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Red-backed Shrikes, three Common Rosefinches, six Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, a White-winged Black Tern, a Purple Heron, a Night Heron, two Honey Buzzards, a Green-winged Teal and an Iceland Gull. |

The highlight of the day was the return of the Cape Gull to Grafham Water, Cambridgeshire where it was previously present between 1st-10th August 2022. Other discoveries included a Caspian Tern in Bedfordshire at Coronation Pit, in Suffolk a Greenish Warbler at Landguard and a Red-footed Falcon at Walberswick, and on the Shetland Isles a Subalpine Warbler species on Out Skerries, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler on Foula. Rarities elsewhere were the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Little Crake still singing in Cambridgeshire, Pacific Golden Plover briefly in Lothian, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Red-footed Falcon and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, White-billed Diver in Highland, and Black-winged Stilts in Carmarthenshire, Gloucestershire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), Short-toed Lark (Orkney Isles), American Golden Plover and Rose-coloured Starling (Norfolk), Night Heron (Cambridgeshire), two each of Common Rosefinch and Cory's Shearwater, four of Icterine Warbler, Purple Heron, and Glossy Ibis, and six Marsh Warblers. |
