| An adult Franklin's Gull was discovered at Holland Haven Country Park, Essex mid morning, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Mossbank, Mainland, Shetland.
Lingering rarities included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (six) and Yorkshire (two), three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Savi's Warbler in Cleveland, King Eider in Aberdeenshire and White-billed Diver in Highland. Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, a Golden Oriole, a Common Rosefinch, two Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, two Pectoral Sandpipers, a Surf Scoter, a Glossy Ibis, two Night Herons, two Purple Herons, four Honey Buzzards, a Great Shearwater, two Pomarine Skuas, a Sabine's Gull and a Glaucous Gull. |

Discoveries today included a Bonaparte's Gull on the Orkney Isles on Papa Westray and in Somerset a Black Kite reported at Ham Wall. Rarities elsewhere comprised the American Black Tern still in Northumberland, Savi's Warbler and Great Reed Warbler still together in Cleveland, Black Kite in North Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, White-billed Diver in Highland, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Nottinghamshire), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), American Golden Plover (Norfolk), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Golden Oriole (County Cork), Red-backed Shrike (Lancashire), Pectoral Sandpiper (Suffolk), Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire), Great Shearwater (Isles of Scilly), two each of both Glossy Ibis and Night Heron, and three of Marsh Warbler and Purple Heron. |

Discoveries today included a Red-footed Falcon in Suffolk at Boyton Marshes and a Black Kite at Elvington, North Yorkshire. Elsewhere lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler and Great Reed Warbler together in Cleveland, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, both Lesser Scaup and White-billed Diver in Highland, Blyth's Reed Warbler on the Shetland Isles, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (4), Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included Woodchat Shrike (Northumberland), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), American Golden Plover (Norfolk), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Golden Oriole (Shetland), Ring-necked Duck (Clyde), two Glossy Ibises, three Night Herons, and four Marsh Warblers. |

Discoveries today included a Red-footed Falcon in Kent at Dungeness, a White-billed Diver on the Western Isles on Barra, and Wilson's Petrels at sea off County Cork and the Isles of Scilly. Otherwise rarities comprised the Little Crake still in song in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler still in Cleveland, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Lincolnshire), Serin (Dorset), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), American Golden Plover and Rose-coloured Starling (Norfolk), Icterine Warbler and Grey-headed Wagtail (Shetland Isles), Hoopoe (Highland), Purple Heron (Bedfordshire), Glossy Ibis (Cambridgeshire), two Ring-necked Ducks, three Night Herons, and five Marsh Warblers. |

| New discoveries today included a Savi's Warbler at Saltholme, Cleveland and a Bee-eater over Eltham, London.
Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Great Reed Warbler in Cleveland, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Shetland, five Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford and Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire (two), Lincolnshire (six), Norfolk (two) and Gloucestershire. Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, an Icterine Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Red-backed Shrikes, three Common Rosefinches, six Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, a White-winged Black Tern, a Purple Heron, a Night Heron, two Honey Buzzards, a Green-winged Teal and an Iceland Gull. |

The highlight of the day was the return of the Cape Gull to Grafham Water, Cambridgeshire where it was previously present between 1st-10th August 2022. Other discoveries included a Caspian Tern in Bedfordshire at Coronation Pit, in Suffolk a Greenish Warbler at Landguard and a Red-footed Falcon at Walberswick, and on the Shetland Isles a Subalpine Warbler species on Out Skerries, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler on Foula. Rarities elsewhere were the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Little Crake still singing in Cambridgeshire, Pacific Golden Plover briefly in Lothian, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Red-footed Falcon and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, White-billed Diver in Highland, and Black-winged Stilts in Carmarthenshire, Gloucestershire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), Short-toed Lark (Orkney Isles), American Golden Plover and Rose-coloured Starling (Norfolk), Night Heron (Cambridgeshire), two each of Common Rosefinch and Cory's Shearwater, four of Icterine Warbler, Purple Heron, and Glossy Ibis, and six Marsh Warblers. |

| New discoveries today included a Pacific Golden Plover at Musselburgh, Lothian, two Black-winged Stilts at Holland Haven, Essex, a Red-footed Falcon and a Bee-eater at Thorpe-next-Haddiscoe, Norfolk, a further Bee-eater at Strathkinness, Fife and a Black Kite at Bingham, Nottinghamshire.
Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire (two) and Gloucestershire, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk and King Eider in Aberdeenshire. Scarcity highlights included an Icterine Warbler, a Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Common Rosefinch, a Red-backed Shrike, a White-spotted Bluethroat, a Rose-coloued Starling, five Marsh Warblers, a Montagu's Harrier, a Honey Buzzard, a Purple Heron, three Night Herons, a Glossy Ibis, an American Golden Plover, a Ring-necked Duck, 50 Cory's Shearwaters and a Pomarine Skua. |

| New discoveries today included a Rustic Bunting and Blyth's Reed Warbler on Fair Isle and another Blyth's Reed Warbler on Foula, both Shetland, a Black Kite over North Foreland, Kent and Bee-eaters in Suffolk (up to eight) and Forth.
Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Great Reed Warbler in Cleveland, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Black-winged Stilts in Norfolk (two), Lincolnshire, Gloucestershire and Yorkshire (two), King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk and White-billed Diver in Highland. Scarcity highlights included a Red-breasted Flycatcher, a White-spotted Bluethroat, a Hoopoe, a Common Rosefinch, a Rose-coloured Starling, three Icterine Warblers, three Red-backed Shrikes, 11 Marsh Warblers, a White-winged Black Tern, two Honey Buzzards, three Night Herons and a Ring-necked Duck. |

Discoveries today included a Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford at Lady's Island Lake, and Blyth's Reed Warblers on the Shetland Isles on Fair Isle and in Suffolk at Landguard. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Least Tern in County Louth, Great Reed Warblers singing in Cleveland and the Orkney Isles, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, eight together Bee-eaters in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Norfolk), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), Woodchat Shrike (Shetland), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Rose-coloured Starling (Nottinghamshire), Purple Heron (Suffolk), Long-tailed Skua (Ayrshire), two Icterine Warblers, six Night Herons, and nine Marsh Warblers. |

The highlight of the day was a Little Crake singing in Cambridgeshire at Ouse Fen, whilst discoveries elsewhere comprised a Citrine Wagtail in London at Barnes, a Gull-billed Tern in Hampshire briefly at Inchmery, another Great Reed Warbler on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay, and Blyth's Reed Warblers in Norfolk at Holme and the Shetland Isles at Scatsta. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Least Tern still in County Louth, Caspian Tern again in County Durham, Great Reed Warblers still singing in Cleveland and Norfolk, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Bee-eaters in Norfolk (3) and Suffolk (2), and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Kent (2), Lincolnshire, Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2). Scarcities included Icterine Warbler (Highland), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), Rose-coloured Starling (Nottinghamshire), Hoopoe (County Dublin), Green-winged Teal (Argyll), two each of Woodchat Shrike and Common Rosefinch, three Purple Herons, and five each of Marsh Warbler, Red-backed Shrike, and Night Heron. |
