Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Kent), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), Surf Scoter (Anglesey), American Wigeon (Somerset), Green-winged Teal (County Kerry), Sabine's Gull and Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), two each of Little Bunting, Ring-billed Gull, Yellow-browed Warbler, and Black Brant, nine of Ring-necked Duck and Glossy Ibis, 16 Shorelarks, and a total of 36 Waxwings. |

Rarities today comprised the Harlequin Duck back on the Western Isles on Barra, White-winged Scoter and Hooded Merganser both still in County Mayo, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in Kent and Somerset, Kentish Plover and Lesser Scaup Somerset, King Eider in Cleveland, and Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk and County Tyrone. Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall), Sabine's Gull and Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Rose-coloured Starling and American Wigeon (Somerset), Surf Scoter (Anglesey), Black Brant (East Yorkshire), two each of Pallas's Warbler, Little Bunting, and Green-winged Teal, five Glossy Ibises, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, 14 Shorelarks, and a total of 42 Waxwings. |

The highlight of the day was the discovery of a first-winter American Herring Gull in County Cork at Sherkin Island albeit just a brief encounter. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Isabelline Wheatear still in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier, Richardson's Cackling Goose, Long-billed Dowitcher, and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in both Kent and Somerset, King Eider in Cleveland, and Lesser Scaup in Surrey. Scarcities included Sabine's Gull (Hampshire), Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), Rough-legged Buzzard (Shetland Isles), Surf Scoter (Anglesey), Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), Green-winged Teal (Northumberland), two each of Pallas's Warbler, Ring-billed Gull, and American Wigeon, six Glossy Ibises, nine Ring-necked Ducks, 16 Shorelarks, and a total of 22 Waxwings. |

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Kent), Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Lapland Bunting (Norfolk), Yellow-browed Warbler (Lancashire), Sabine's Gull (Hampshire), American Wigeon (Somerset), Green-winged Teal (Highland), two Snow Geese, three each of both Ring-billed Gull and Black Brant, four Surf Scoters, 13 Ring-necked Ducks, 10 Glossy Ibises, 16 Shorelarks, and a total of 74 Waxwings. Rarities today comprised the White-winged Scoter still in County Mayo, Pacific Diver still in Fife, Isabelline Wheatear still in Cornwall, Laughing Gull reported again in Devon, Pallid Harrier, Richardson's Cackling Goose, and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in both Kent and Somerset, Kentish Plover in Somerset, King Eider in Cleveland, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Surrey, and Ferruginous Ducks in both Norfolk (2) and Staffordshire. Scarcities incouded Pallas's Warbler (Kent), Ring-billed Gull (Clyde), Sabine's Gull (Hampshire), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), Green-winged Teal (County Kerry), two each of Little Bunting, American Wigeon, Surf Scoter, Lapland Bunting, Great Grey Shrike, Yellow-browed Warbler, Snow Goose, and Black Brant, four Glossy Ibises, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, 12 Shorelarks, and a total of 28 Waxwings. |
