| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Greater Sand Plover in Aberdeenshire at St Combs. Seabird tallies comprised a Barolo Shearwater in County Wexford passing Carnsore Point, a Fea's/Desertas Petrel in Cornwall passing Porthgwarra, a total of 28 Wilson's Petrels, 34 Cory's Shearwaters, 215 Great Shearwaters, 27 Sabine's Gulls, and five Long-tailed Skuas. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Turkestan Shrike still in East Yorkshire, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Citrine Wagtail in Gwent, Caspian Tern and 10 Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire, and the family of four Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire. Scarcities included Melodious Warbler (Cornwall), Icterine Warbler and Temminck's Stint (Norfolk), Barred Warbler (Shetland Isles), Night Heron and Purple Heron (Kent), Pectoral Sandpiper (East Yorkshire), Dotterel (East Sussex), three each of White-winged Black Tern, American Golden Plover, Red-backed Shrike, and Wryneck, five Spotted Crakes, and a total of 16 Glossy Ibises. |

| Seabirds provided the highlights today with 11 Wilson's Petrels, 284 Great
Shearwaters, 12 Cory's Shearwaters, four Sabine's Gulls, and two
Long-tailed Skuas all logged in the west. Rarities today included a Pacific Golden Plover new in Cleveland at Saltholme, the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper still in County Cork, Turkestan Shrike still in East Yorkshire, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Squacco Heron in West Sussex, Caspian Tern and 10 Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Citrine Wagtail in Gwent, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and the family of four Black-winged Stilts still in Cheshire. Scarcities included Night Heron (Kent), American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Red-necked Phalarope (Essex), Temminck's Stint (Norfolk), two each of both Barred Warbler and Red-backed Shrike, three Icterine Warblers, six Wrynecks, seven Spotted Crakes, and a total of 14 Glossy Ibises. |

| New discoveries today included an Aquatic Warbler at Galley Head, County Cork, the first in Ireland since 2014, a Citrine Wagtail at Newport Wetlands, Gwent, a Black Kite over Grove Ferry, Kent, a Caspian Tern at Hickling, Norfolk, an Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo and a Wilson's Petrel off Porthgwarra, Cornwall.
Lingering rarities seen today included the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper in County Cork, Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Sussex, four Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, eight Bee-eaters in Norfolk, King Eider in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire and 15 Wilson's Petrels from the Scilly pelagic. Other seabirds recorded included 14 Sabine's Gulls, a Grey Phalarope, a Pomarine Skua, six Long-tailed Skuas, around 135 Balearic Shearwaters, around 119 Cory's Shearwaters and around 291 Great Shearwaters. Scarcity highlgihts included a Melodious Warbler, an Icterine Warbler, a Barred Warbler, a Red-backed Shrike, two Wrynecks, seven Spotted Crakes, a Dotterel, a Temminck's Stint, two Pectoral Sandpipers, a Purple Heron, five Glossy Ibises, seven Honey Buzzards, a White-winged Black Tern and a Glaucous Gull. |

Main highlight of the day was the discovering of a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper in County Cork at Clogheen Marsh, elsewhere Wilson’s Petrels were recorded off Cornwall and County Galway. Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, four Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire, Squacco Heron in Sussex, eight Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Ferruginous Ducks in Northamptonshire, King Eider on Shetland. Scarcity highlights included 2 Barred Warblers, 2 Wrynecks, 5 Spotted Crakes, a Purple Heron, an American Golden Plover, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers, 2 Dotterels, 8 Sabine's Gulls, 9 Long-tailed Skuas, 16 Pomarine Skuas, 4 Cory's Shearwaters and 12 Great Shearwaters. |

| Eight Wilson's Petrels were seen from a pelagic trip off the Isles of Scilly, along with around twenty each of Cory's and Great Shearwaters. Elsewhere, lingering rarities comprised the Turkestan Shrike and White-rumped Sandpiper in Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Sussex, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire and the families of Bee-eaters in Norfolk and Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire.
There were nine sighting of Cory's Shearwaters off the north east coast with a further bird off Cornwall. There were also five sightings of Great Shearwaters, from Borders, County Antrim, Cornwall and from the Scillonian as well as the Ullapool to Stornoway ferry. Both Icterine Warblers and Wrynecks were seen in Norfolk and Scilly. Spotted Crakes were in Yorkshire (2), Scilly (2), Somerset and Northumberland and there were three Pectoral Sandpipers, an American Golden Plover, a Purple Heron and a Night Heron |

| An Aquatic Warbler was at Nanjizal Valley, Cornwall, a Caspian Tern was at Breydon Water, Norfolk and nine Wilson's Petrels were seen from a pelagic off County Waterford, the first record for the county.
Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, four Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk, Squacco Heron in Sussex, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Bonaparte's Gulls in Argyll and Kent, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, eight Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, Black Duck in County Mayo, Ferruginous Ducks in Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire and three Wilson's Petrels were seen from the Scilly pelagic. Scarcity highlights included a Barred Warbler, two Icterine Warblers, four Wrynecks, six Spotted Crakes, a Night Heron, a Purple Heron, 16 Glossy Ibises, an American Golden Plover, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Dotterel, a Tundra Bean Goose, two Sabine's Gulls, a Long-tailed Skua, four Pomarine Skuas, 135 Cory's Shearwaters and 136 Great Shearwaters. |

| New Aquatic Warblers were at Slapton, Devon and Abbotsbury, Dorset, a Caspian Tern flew over Sidestrand, Norfolk, Bee-eaters were over Minsmere, Suffolk (four), Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire (three) and Bedhampton, Hampshire, a Black Kite was at Drift Reservoir and a Wilson's Petrel flew past Pendeen, both Cornwall.
Lingering rarities still present included the Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, six Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Squacco Heron in Sussex, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Forster's Tern in County Louth, four Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Scilly, White-rumped Sandpipers in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk and the Laughing Gull and two Wilson's Petrels were seen from the Scilly pelagic. Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, four Spotted Crakes, a Night Heron, four Purple Herons, 18 Glossy Ibises, an American Golden Plover, a Temminck's Stint, a Grey Phalarope, two Pectoral Sandpipers, two Honey Buzzards, a Tundra Bean Goose, a Surf Scoter, a Ring-necked Duck, a Sabine's Gull, a Glaucous Gull, two Pomarine Skuas, four Cory's Shearwaters and 62 Great Shearwaters. |

The star new discovery of the day was a Scopoli’s Shearwater off Baltimore, County Cork during a pelagic, elsewhere the Aquatic Warbler run continues with two birds in Dorset at Lytchett Bay plus another in Gwent at Newport Wetlands. Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, 4 Black-winged Stilts in Cheshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Scilly, Squacco Heron in Sussex, 7 Bee-Eaters in Norfolk, Laughing Gull off Scilly, King Eider in Lothian, White-rumped Sandpiper Lincolnshire, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll and Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire (two), Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, three Icterine Warblers, 2 Pectoral Sandpipers, a Temminck's Stint, Grey Phalarope, 4 Spotted Crakes, 2 Honey Buzzards, 2 Purple Herons, 24 Glossy Ibises, a Sabine's Gull, 21 Cory's Shearwaters, 75 Great Shearwaters and a Tundra Bean Goose |

| New discoveries today included an Aquatic Warbler at Lytchett Bay, Dorset, a Ferruginous Duck at Holme Pierrepont, Nottinghamshire, a Black Kite at Loch Caolisport, Argyll and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Frampton Marsh RSPB, Lincolnshire.

| Five Black-winged Stilts were discovered at Doddington, Cheshire, whilst lingering rarities seen today included the Harlequin Duck in Shetland, Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Scilly, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, seven Bee-eaters in Norfolk and Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire (two) and Northamptonshire. Three Wilson's Petrels were seen from the Scilly pelagic along with a Cory's Shearwater and 15 Great Shearwaters.
Other scarcity highlights included two Icterine Warblers, two Honey Buzzards, a Spotted Crake, a Night Heron, three Purple Herons, eight Glossy Ibises, a Temminck's Stint, a Pectoral Sandpiper, two Red-necked Phalaropes, a Glaucous Gull and an Iceland Gull. |
