Friday 22nd July 2022  
  A Caspian Tern was found at Staveley, Yorkshire, with another still in the Slimbridge area of Gloucestershire. Other lingering rarities seen today included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Stilt Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Buckinghamshire and Angus, Least Tern in County Dublin, Elegant Tern in County Galway, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Iberian Chiffchaff in London and at least six Bee-eaters in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Long-tailed Skua, two Pomarine Skuas, a Purple Heron, 18 Glossy Ibises, thre Honey Buzzards, a Surf Scoter and two Ring-necked Ducks.

Thursday 21st July 2022  
  Discoveries today included White-rumped Sandpipers in Angus at Montrose Basin and Buckinghamshire at Dorney Common, and Wilson's Petrels at sea off County Cork (5) and the Isles of Scilly.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Black-browed Albatross and Turkestan Shrike together in East Yorkshire, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Stilt Sandpiper and Gull-billed Tern in Lincolnshire, Caspian Tern, White-rumped Sandpiper, and six Bee-eaters all in Norfolk, Caspian Tern in Gloucestershire, King Eider in Lothian, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire.

Wednesday 20th July 2022  
  Discoveries today included a Gull-billed Tern briefly in Kent at Oare Marshes, and a Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire at Holme Pierrepont and then Netherfield.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East Yorkshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Stilt Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Gull-billed Tern in Lincolnshire then Cambridgeshire, Caspian Tern in Gloucestershire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Fife, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, five Wilson's Petrels at sea off County Cork, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and at least seven Bee-eaters together in Norfolk including at least one young in the nest.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Orkney Isles), two each of both Cory's Shearwater and Great Shearwater, four Pectoral Sandpipers, and a total of 17 Glossy Ibises.

Tuesday 19th July 2022  
  Discoveries today included a Gull-billed Tern in Lincolnshire at Baston and Langtoft, and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Collessie, Fife.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East Yorkshire, the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Stilt Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, Caspian Terns in both Cleveland and Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Scarcities included Purple Heron (Anglesey), three Pectoral Sandpipers (Cumbria, Fife, Merseyside), and a total of 13 Glossy Ibises

Monday 18th July 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the relocation of the Elegant Tern in Ireland at Inishroo, County Galway.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Turkestan Shrike still in East Yorkshire, Stilt Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, White-rumped Sandpiper on the Shetland Isles, Caspian Terns in both Cleveland and Gloucestershire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, King Eider in Lothian, six Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and the family of six Black-winged Stilts still in South Yorkshire.

Scarcities included Night Heron (Kent), Purple Heron (Cornwall), Long-tailed Skua (County Durham), Glaucous Gull (Highland), two Sabine's Gulls, three Pectoral Sandpipers, and a total of 12 Glossy Ibises.

Sunday 17th July 2022  
  Rarities today comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross both still together in East Yorkshire, Stilt Sandpiper still in Lincolnshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Caspian Terns in both Cleveland (2) and Gloucestershire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, six Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and a White-rumped Sandpiper new on the Shetland Isles at Pool of Virkie, Mainland.

Scarcities included Night Heron (Norfolk), Rose-coloured Starling (Western Isles), Golden Oriole (Suffolk), Long-tailed Skua (Fife), two Pectoral Sandpipers, and a total of 15 Glossy Ibises.

Saturday 16th July 2022  
  Caspian Terns were found at Brownsea Island, Dorset and at an undisclosed site in Highland, with lingering individuals at Christchurch, Dorset, Epney, Gloucestershire and Saltholme, Cleveland.

Other lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Stilt Sandpiper in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, six Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and American Black Tern in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included eight Honey Buzzards, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Night Heron, 16 Glossy Ibises, two Pomarine Skuas and a Glaucous Gull.

Friday 15th July 2022  
  A Stilt Sandpiper was seen at Alkborough Flats, Lincolnshire briefly in the evening, whilst a Kentish Plover was at Snettisham RSPB, Norfolk early morning.

Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Caspian Terns in Cleveland (two), Dorset and Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, White-rumped Sandpiper and six Bee-eaters in Norfolk and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, a Night Heron, a Purple Heron, 11 Glossy Ibises, an American Golden Plover, a Temminck's Stint, two Pectoral Sandpipers, six Honey Buzzards and a Sabine's Gull.

Thursday 14th July 2022  
  Caspian Tern dominated the news today with singles in Dorset, Gloucestershire, and Gwent, and two together in Cleveland.

Rarities elsewhere comprised Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East Yorkshire, Least Tern still in County Dublin, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, King Eider in Lothian, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and in Norfolk White-rumped Sandpiper, two Bee-eaters, and six Black-winged Stilts.

Scarcities included Night Heron (Kent), Sabine's Gull (Lancashire), Common Rosefinch (Lincolnshire), Rose-coloured Starling (Ceredigion), Pectoral Sandpiper (Aberdeenshire), Cory's Shearwater (Isles of Scilly), two American Wigeons, and three Glossy Ibises

Wednesday 13th July 2022  
  The highlights of the day were the discoveries of a Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire at Normandy Marsh, and a Kentish Plover in Essex at The Naze.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East Yorkshire, Pied-billed Grebe still in Argyll, Caspian Terns in Cleveland (2) and Dorset, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, the family of six Black-winged Stilts still in South Yorkshire, and in Norfolk White-rumped Sandpiper, three Bee-eaters, and six Black-winged Stilts.

Scarcities included Night Heron (Kent), Hoopoe (West Sussex), Sabine's Gull (Lancashire), Temminck's Stint (South Yorkshire), Pectoral Sandpiper (Aberdeenshire), Ring-billed Gull (County Clare), and a total of 11 Glossy Ibises.
