| A Caspian Tern flew north past Flamborough Head, Yorkshire, with the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross remaining nearby at Bempton. Three Black-winged Stilts were also still in the county at Potteric Carr, whilst the Elegant Tern and Pacific Golden Plover remained in County Wexford, along with Broad-billed Sandpiper in Shetland, White-rumped Sandpiper, Great Reed Warbler, three Bee-eaters and Caspian Tern in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, King Eider in Lothian and American Black Tern in Northumberland.
Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, a Night Heron, seven Glossy Ibises, three Honey Buzzards, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Cory's Shearwater, a Sabine's Gull, and a Pomarine Skua. |

| New discoveries today today included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Snettisham RSPB, Norfolk and a Bonaparte's Gull at Oare Marshes KWT, Kent.
Lingering rarities still present included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Elegant Tern and Pacific Golden Plover in County Wexford, Broad-billed Sandpiper in Shetland, five Bee-eaters in Norfolk and American Black Tern in Northumberland. Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, an American Golden Plover, a Cory's Shearwater, a Sabine's Gull, a Glaucous Gull, a Night Heron, ten Glossy Ibises and a Ring-necked Duck. |

| The highlight of the day was a Pacific Golden Plover in County Wexford that joined an
American Golden Plover at Tacumshin. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross together in East Yorkshire, Elegant Tern in County Wexford, Broad-billed Sandpiper on the Shetland Isles, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, five Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire. Scarcities included Sabine's Gull (Lancashire), Night Heron (Norfolk), Rose-coloured Starling and Glaucous Gull (Highland), and a total of 10 Glossy Ibises. |

The new rarities discovered today were all brief encounters with a Bonaparte’s Gull in the Highlands at Firemore and Caspian Tern at Potter Heigham Marshes. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Elegant Tern County Wexford , American Black Tern in Northumberland, Broad-billed Sandpiper in Shetland, King Eider in Lothian, 6 Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire and 8 Bee-eaters together in Norfolk. Scarcities included Surf Scoter (Angus), Serin (East Sussex) and a total of 5 Glossy Ibises |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Elegant Tern in County Wexford at Lady's Island Lake. Rarities elsewhere comprised both the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Wilson's Petrel at sea off the Isles of Scilly, King Eider in Lothian, and Bee-eaters in both Norfolk (6) and Suffolk. Scarcities included Surf Scoter (Northumberland), Night Heron (West Sussex), Serin (Somerset), two Temminck's Stints (Lincolnshire and Norfolk), and a total of 10 Glossy Ibises. Significant late news concerned a Snowy Owl present yesterday on the Shetland Isles at Ronas Hill, Mainland. |

| The new rarities discovered today were all brief encounters with a Fea's/Desertas Petrel
at sea off County Galway, a Caspian Tern in West Sussex at Dell Quay before
it relocated to Normandy, Hampshire, an Alpine Swift in Pembrokeshire at Elegug Stacks, and a
Bee-eater in East Yorkshire at Kilnsea. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross, and Ferruginous Duck in East Yorkshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, King Eider in Lothian, and five Bee-eaters together in Norfolk. Scarcities included Golden Oriole in Hertfordshire, American Golden Plover in County Wexford, Pectoral Sandpiper in Northamptonshire, Rose-coloured Starling in County Kerry, Temminck's Stint in Norfolk, American Wigeon in Forth, Sabine's Gull in Cumbria, and a total of 12 Glossy Ibises. |

The Snowy Owl on the Western Isles was discovered on North Uist near Port Scolpaig and the Broad-billed Sandpiper on Shetland was found at Pool of Virkie Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike, Black-browed Albatross, Caspian Tern, Ferruginous Duck and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, 7 Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London and Savi’s Warbler in Kent. Scarcity highlights included a Serin, an American Golden Plover, a Temminck's Stint, two Honey Buzzards, a Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, 13 Glossy Ibises, a Pomarine Skua and two Glaucous Gulls. |

| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of both the Turkestan Shrike and
Black-browed Albatross at Bempton Cliffs, East Yorkshire, where an Alpine Swift flew over during the afternoon. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Caspian Tern still in Nottinghamshire, terrtitorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, four Bee-eaters still at the nest in Norfolk, and a Ferruginous Duck new at Hornsea Mere, East Yorkshire. Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Red-backed Shrike (Suffolk), Temminck's Stint (Clyde), and a total of five Glossy Ibises. Significant late news concerned the Short-toed Eagle reported as still present recently in Highland at Loch Grudie. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Caspian Tern in Cleveland at Dorman's Pool. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross together in East Yorkshire, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, King Eider on the Shetland Isles, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and Bee-eaters in Lancashire and Norfolk (5). Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Great Shearwater (Orkney Isles), and three Glossy Ibises (Cleveland). |
