| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of both the Turkestan Shrike and
Black-browed Albatross at Bempton Cliffs, East Yorkshire, where an Alpine Swift flew over during the afternoon. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Caspian Tern still in Nottinghamshire, terrtitorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, four Bee-eaters still at the nest in Norfolk, and a Ferruginous Duck new at Hornsea Mere, East Yorkshire. Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Red-backed Shrike (Suffolk), Temminck's Stint (Clyde), and a total of five Glossy Ibises. Significant late news concerned the Short-toed Eagle reported as still present recently in Highland at Loch Grudie. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Caspian Tern in Cleveland at Dorman's Pool. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross together in East Yorkshire, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, King Eider on the Shetland Isles, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and Bee-eaters in Lancashire and Norfolk (5). Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Great Shearwater (Orkney Isles), and three Glossy Ibises (Cleveland). |

| Rarities today comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross still together in East
Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire,
Iberian Chiffchaff in London, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and
Bee-eaters in Norfolk (6) and Bee-eater Suffolk. Seawatching produced 617 Cory's Shearwaters, seven Great Shearwaters, 10 Sabine's Gulls, and a nine Long-tailed Skuas all passing Galley Head, County Cork, with further Cory's Shearwaters seen from eight locations between County Cork and Dorset. Otherwise scarcities included Serin (East Sussex), American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Ring-billed Gull (County Clare), Ring-necked Duck (County Mayo), two Rose-coloured Starlings, and a total of four Glossy Ibises. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Turkestan Shrike in East Yorkshire at Bempton Cliffs
albeit only present there briefly. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Moltoni's Warbler on the Shetland Isles, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, two Wilson's Petrels at sea off the Isles of Scilly, six Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and the family of six Black-winged Stilts still in South Yorkshire. Scarcities included Serin (Kent), Rose-coloured Starling (Scilly), Spotted Crake (North Yorkshire), seven Glossy Ibises, and a total of 36 Cory's Shearwaters. |

| Rarities today comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Moltoni's Warbler on the Shetland Isles, Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire,
American Black Tern in Northumberland, Caspian Terns in both Nottinghamshire (2) and Suffolk, territorial
Great Reed Warblers in Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London,
Black-winged Stilts in County Galway and South Yorkshire (6), and six Bee-eaters still together in Norfolk. Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Golden Oriole (Essex), Hoopoe (Hertfordshire), Marsh Warbler (Shetland), Sabine's Gull (Cornwall), American Wigeon (Forth), four Glossy Ibises, and at least 49 Cory's Shearwaters. Significant late news concerned a White-throated Sparrow present yesterday in Glamorgan at Porthcawl. |

| Caspian Terns were found at Minsmere, Suffolk, Dungeness, Kent and Misson, Nottinghamshire where two were present from mid evening. A Black Kite was near Loversall, Yorkshire.
Lingering rarities present included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Moltoni's Warbler in Shetland, Great Reed Warblers in Nottinghamshire and Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, six Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Black-browed Albatross and six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, Black-winged Stilt in County Galway, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland and White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire. Scarcity highlights included a Golden Oriole, two Hoopoes, four Rose-coloured Starlings, two Honey Buzzards, an American Golden Plover, a Red-necked Phalarope, nine Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, 14 Cory's Shearwaters, three Balearic Shearwaters, a Pomarine Skua and a Ring-billed Gull. |

| In Shetland, a singing male Moltoni's Warbler was found in a garden at Gutcher, Yell.
A Black Kite flew over Weybourne, Norfolk, with the Great Reed Warbler and six Bee-eaters still in the county, whilst other lingering rarities included the Great Reed Warbler in Nottinghamshire, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, Black Duck in County Mayo, six Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire. Scarcity highlights included a Hoopoe, a Bluethroat, two Rose-coloured Starlings, an American Golden Plover, a Buff-breasted Sandpiper, an American Wigeon, four Honey Buzzards, seven Glossy Ibises, five Roseate Terns and a Cory's Shearwater. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a displaying Broad-billed Sandpiper in Shetland at Levenwick. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Snowy Owl in the Western Isles, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, King Eider in Lothian, Great Reed Warblers in Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, Black-winged Stilts in County Galway and South Yorkshire (6), and Bee-eaters in Kent and Norfolk (6). |

Scarcities included Icterine Warbler (Cornwall), Rose-coloured Starling (Isles of Scilly), Hoopoe (Hertfordshire), American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Temminck's Stint (County Durham), Green-winged Teal (Highland), Red-necked Phalarope (Orkney Isles), three Glossy Ibises, and a total of four American Wigeons. |

| The highlight of the day was the relocation of the Pacific Swift on the Shetland Isles on Noss; 22 miles to the north northeast of where it was found on Sunday. Discoveries elsewhere included a Baird's Sandpiper in Lincolnshire at Alkborough Flats, a Subalpine Warbler species on Isle of Man at Calf of Man, a returning White-spotted Bluethroat in Gloucestershire at Slimbridge, Wilson's Petrel at sea off the Isles of Scilly, and Bee-eaters briefly in both Merseyside and Suffolk. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, territorial Great Reed Warblers in both Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Red-rumped Swallow on the Orkney Isles, seven Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and the family party of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire. Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Pectoral Sandpiper (Staffordshire), Hoopoe (Hertfordshire), Green-winged Teal (Shetland), Red-necked Phalarope (Orkney), Glossy Ibis (Suffolk), two Golden Orioles, and three Rose-coloured Starlings. |
