  New discoveries today included an Iberian Chiffchaff at Hoylake, Wirral, an Alpine Swift at Waterford, County Waterford, a Black-winged Stilt at Llanelli, Carmarthenshire and a White-billed Diver off Portknockie, Moray.

Lingering rarities still present included the Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Snowy Owl in Western Isles, Dusky Warbler and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Pacific Golden Plover and Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, King Eiders in Lothian and Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Essex and Clyde (two), White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire and Shetland and Bonaparte's Gull in Sussex.

In the Western Isles on South Uist, 3 Lesser Scaups were found whilst in the Highlands off Embo there was a White-billed Diver

Lingering rarities still present today included the Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, White-tailed Lapwing in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Sussex, Hume’s Warblers still in Kent and East Sussex, Dusky Warbler still in Norfolk ,Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs and Pacific Golden Plover in Suffolk and Lesser Scaups in Essex and 2 in Clyde

Scarcity highlights included a 2 Great Grey Shrikes, a Temminck's Stint, 2 Spotted Crakes, 3 Green-winged Teal, 9 Ring-necked Ducks, 22 Glossy Ibises, 7 Glaucous Gulls and 14 Iceland Gulls

Saturday 9th April 2022  
 

The White-tailed Lapwing continued to tour the country after being found late into the afternoon at Ken Hill Marshes, Norfolk. It was last seen at Frampton Marsh RSPB on the 3rd seen flying out into the Wash.

Lingering rarities still present today included the Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Sussex, Hume’s Warbler still in Kent, Dusky Warblers still in Kent, Norfolk and London, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Lesser Scaups in Essex, County Cork and 2 in Clyde

Scarcity highlights included a 2 Great Grey Shrikes, Yellow-browed Warbler, a Temminck's Stint, 2 Spotted Crakes, 2 American Wigeon, 3 Green-winged Teal, 9 Ring-necked Ducks, 27 Glossy Ibises, 3 Glaucous Gulls and 18 Iceland Gulls

Friday 8th April 2022  
  Lingering rarities still present today included the Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler and Bonaparte's Gull in Sussex, Dusky Warbler and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Blue-winged Teal in Cambridgeshire and Lesser Scaup in Essex.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Shorelarks, a Temminck's Stint, a Spotted Crake, an American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teal, 14 Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, 32 Glossy Ibises, a Glaucous Gull and nine Iceland Gulls.

Thursday 7th April 2022  
  Lingering rarities still present today included the Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Shetland, Dusky Warbler and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Black Duck in County Mayo, Lesser Scaups in Clyde (two), Western Isles and Essex and Bonaparte's Gull in Sussex.

Scarcity highlights included a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Great Grey Shrike, a Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals, ten Ring-necked Ducks, 12 Glossy Ibises, two Glaucous Gulls, eight Iceland Gulls and a Balearic Shearwater.

Wednesday 6th April 2022  
 

New rarities today started with a Lesser Yellowlegs on Fair Isle whilst in Cornwall a Black Kite was seen in Cornwall between Wadebridge and Tregunna on the Camel Estuary.

Rarities today comprised Black-browed Albatross still in East Yorkshire, Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in West Sussex, King Eider in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Essex with 2 still in Clyde too, Double-crested Cormorant still in County Leitrim and Dusky Warbler still in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, Rose-coloured Starling, American Wigeon, 2 Spotted Crakes, 32 Glossy Ibises, 4 Green-winged Teals, 3 Ring-necked Ducks, 5 Glaucous Gulls and 17 Iceland Gulls.

Tuesday 5th April 2022  
  Rarities today comprised both the Black-browed Albatross and Baikal Teal still in East Yorkshire, Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, Black Duck on the Shetland Isles, Pacific Golden Plover in Suffolk, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in West Sussex, King Eider in Highland, and Lesser Scaup in Essex.

Scarcities included Serin (Suffolk), Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), Hoopoe (County Kerry), Pectoral Sandpiper (County Cork), American Wigeon (Moray), Snow Goose (Argyll), Spotted Crake (Devon), Shorelark (Norfolk), two Kumlien's Gulls, four Green-winged Teals, 10 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 24 Glossy Ibises.

Monday 4th April 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll on Fair Isle, Shetland Isles.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, both Black-browed Albatross and Baikal Teal East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Dusky Warbler in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in West Sussex, and Lesser Scaups in County Cork, Clyde (2), and Essex.

Scarcities included Pectoral Sandpiper (County Cork), Hoopoe (Devon), Great Grey Shrike (Norfolk), Yellow-browed Warbler (Dorset), two each of Spotted Crake and Little Auk, four Snow Geese, six Green-winged Teals, nine Ring-necked Ducks, and 16 Glossy Ibises.

Sunday 3rd April 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Pacific Golden Plover in Suffolk at Carlton Marshes, with other arrivals including a Lesser Scaup in Essex at Abberton Reservoir, and a White-billed Diver in Highland at Embo.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Black-browed Albatross and Baikal Teal both in East Yorkshire, Semipalmated Plover in County Cork, American Coot in County Wexford, Hume's Warbler in East Sussex, Dusky Warbler in Norfolk, Blue-winged Teals in both Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire, Bonaparte's Gull in West Sussex, King Eiders in Highland and Lothian, Lesser Scaups in County Cork and the Western Isles, and White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire (4) and Moray (5).

Scarcities included Pectoral Sandpiper and Ring-billed Gull (County Cork), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Temminck's Stint (Essex then Kent), Snow Goose (Lancashire), Great Grey Shrike (Norfolk), Kumlien's Gull (Cambridgeshire), two Spotted Crakes, four Shorelarks, five Green-winged Teals, 28 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 31 Glossy Ibises.

Saturday 2nd April 2022  
 

Highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black Duck on Unst, Shetland at Baltasound, elsewhere 17 White-billed Divers were Portsoy with a futher 7 White-billed Divers off Whitehills.

Other lingering rarities seen today included the Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, 3 Richardson's Cackling Geese with 2 in Western Isles and the other in Argyll, Baikal Teal in Yorkshire, Blue-winged Teals in Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire, 5 Lesser Scaup with 2 in Clyde and Wester Isles plus another in County Cork, King Eiders in Lothian and Highland, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford and Dusky Warbler in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, four Shorelarks, a Temminck's Stint, 3 Spotted Crakes, 32 Glossy Ibises, 6 Green-winged Teals, 10 Ring-necked Ducks, 5 Glaucous Gulls and 9 Iceland Gulls.
