| Discoveries today included a Bonaparte's Gull in West Sussex at Chichester, a King Eider in Highland at Loch Fleet, and two
Lesser Scaups together in Forth at Skinflats. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Baikal Teal in East Yorkshire, Ross's Goose in Aberdeenshire, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Dusky Warbler in London, Red-breasted Geese in Argyll and Norfolk, two Penduline Tits together in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, and eight White-billed Divers in Moray. Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (Argyll), Surf Scoter (Moray), Snow Goose (Merseyside), Great Grey Shrike (Cambridgeshire), Kumlien's Gull (Cornwall), two each of Little Bunting, Hoopoe, Yellow-browed Warbler, and Black Brant, three of Serin and Waxwing, six Shorelarks, eight of both Ring-necked Duck and Lapland Bunting, and a total of 20 Glossy Ibises. Incoming spring migrants included Sedge Warbler (Lincolnshire), Ring Ouzel (East Yorkshire), House Martin (Devon), two each of Yellow Wagtail and Willow Warbler, four Ospreys, and an incredible tally of 176 Garganey. |

Lingering rarities still present included the Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Baikal Teal in Yorkshire, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Lesser Scaup in Western Isles, King Eider in Lothian, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Penduline Tit in Somerset and Dusky Warbler in London. Scarcity highlights included a Serin, a Yellow-browed Warbler, two Little Buntings, two Great Grey Shrikes, seven Shorelarks, 32 Glossy Ibises, a Green-winged Teal, three Surf Scoters, 29 Ring-necked Ducks, a Taiga Bean Goose, two Black Brants, two Ring-billed Gulls, two Kumlien's Gulls, four Glaucous Gulls and 11 Iceland Gulls. |

New rarities today included a male Desert Wheatear in West Sussex on the beach at Goring Gap and a reported Black Kite flew east over Brighstone, Isle of Wight. Rarities today comprised the Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Baikal Teal in East Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Dusky Warbler in London, King Eiders in Lothian and Highlands, Hume’s Warblers in East Sussex and 2 Lesser Scaups in Clyde and a single bird on Western Isles, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Black Scoter in Northumberland. Scarcity highlights included 2 Great Grey Shrikes, 2 Waxwings, 7 Shorelarks, 46 Glossy Ibises, 2 Green-winged Teals, 2 Surf Scoters, 22 Ring-necked Ducks, 7 Glaucous Gulls, 2 Ring-billed Gulls and 16 Iceland Gulls. |

both still in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, American Coots in County Kerry and County Wexford,
Ross's Gull in County Galway, Baikal Teal in East Yorkshire, Black Scoter
in Northumberland, Hume's Warbler in East Sussex, Eastern Stonechat
species in Norfolk, King Eider on the Shetland Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, and
Lesser Scaups in Ayrshire, Clyde (2), and the Western Isles. Scarcities included Richard's Pipit and Black Brant (East Yorkshire), Ring-billed Gull and Kumlien's Gull (Cornwall), two Green-winged Teals, three Snow Geese, four each of Surf Scoter and Waxwing, seven Shorelarks, eight Ring-necked Ducks, 28 Lapland Buntings, and a total of 30 Glossy Ibises. Incoming spring migrants included Ring Ouzel (Cornwall), two Willow Warblers, four each of Osprey and Swallow, and 62 Garganey (half of which flew east past Dungeness, Kent). |

| In Ireland today rarities included a Gyr Falcon new in County Cork at Power Head with
nearby both Semipalmated Plover and Pacific Diver still at Crookhaven, the Double-crested Cormorant still in County Leitrim, Northern Harrier
in County Offaly, American Coot in County Kerry, and Black Duck in County Mayo. In Britain the Belted Kingfisher showed again in Lancashire, the White-tailed Lapwing remained in Lincolnshire as did the Eastern Stonechat species in Norfolk, Baikal Teals in both Somerset and East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Norfolk, Dusky Warbler in London, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, White-billed Diver in Moray, and Lesser Scaups in both Clyde (2) and the Western Isles. Scarcities included Serin (Hertfordshire), Waxwing (Highland), two each of both Black Brant and Little Auk, three of Surf Scoter, Green-winged Teal, and Great Grey Shrike, five Snow Geese, six of Ring-billed Gull, Shorelark, and Lapland Bunting, 17 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 26 Glossy Ibises. |

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, American Coot in County Kerry, Semipalmated Plover in County Cork, Ross's Goose in Aberdeenshire, Baikal Teals in both Somerset and East Yorkshire, Black Duck in County Mayo, Ross's Gull in County Galway, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Kentish Plover and three Penduline Tits together in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Galway and Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan, and four Lesser Scaups together in Argyll.
