Rarities included the Egyptian Vulture still in County Roscommon, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Baikal Teals still in East Yorkshire and Somerset, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Penduline Tit in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, 2 Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Sligo, Lesser Scaups in Argyll (4) and singles in Dorset, Western Isles and County Armagh, Ross’s Gull still in County Galway, King Eiders in Highlands and Lothian and Black Duck in County Mayo. Scarcities included Short-toed Lark, American Wigeon, 4 Great Grey Shrikes, 4 Ring-billed Gulls, 5 Waxwings, three Snow Geese, two Black Brant and Kumlien's Gull, three Green-winged Teals, 16 Ring-necked Ducks, four Shorelark, 36 Glossy Ibises, and 5 Lapland Buntings. |

Black Scoter in Northumberland, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in East Sussex, three
Penduline Tits together in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire,
Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, Richardson's Cackling Geese in both Argyll and
County Sligo, Lesser Scaups in Argyll (4) and Clyde (2), and a very early
Black-winged Stilt reported in Kent at Cliffe Pools. Scarcities included Short-toed Lark (Norfolk), American Golden Plover (Northumberland), American Wigeon and Rough-legged Buzzard (Lincolnshire), Great Grey Shrike (Denbighshire), Yellow-browed Warbler (Cambridgeshire), two each of Rose-coloured Starling, Ring-billed Gull, and Waxwing, three Snow Geese, four of Black Brant and Kumlien's Gull, six Green-winged Teals, nine Ring-necked Ducks, 12 of both Shorelark and Glossy Ibis, and 20 Lapland Buntings. Spring migrants included Ring Ouzel (East Yorkshire), Willow Warbler (Devon), Garganey and Osprey (Suffolk), two White Wagtails, three Little Ringed Plovers, and four Sand Martins. |

| In Ireland a new Ross's Gull was found at Dublin Port, County Dublin
whilst the lingering individual remained in County Galway, the Egyptian Vulture
showed again in County Roscommon, Double-crested Cormorant remained in County Leitrim, and a
Richardson's Cackling Goose still in County Sligo. In Britain the White-tailed Lapwing remained in Lincolnshire, the White-winged Scoter showed again in Lothian, Baikal Teals in both Somerset and East Yorkshire, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Ross's Goose in Fife, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in East Sussex, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, King Eiders in Highland and Lothian, three Penduline Tits together in Somerset, at least four White-billed Divers in Northumberland, and Lesser Scaups in Argyll (4), Clyde (2), and the Western Isles (3). |

Big news of the day came from the reappearance of the Egyptian Vulture in County Roscommon near Ardmullen. Plus a Ross’s Goose was found in Fife in a field south of Ramornie Mains with Pink-footed Geese Other lingering rarities still present included the American Robin and Hume's Warbler in Sussex (with another of the latter still in Kent), Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Ross's Gulls in County Galway and Aberdeenshire, Forster's Tern in County Galway, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, three Lesser Scaups in Argyll, King Eider in Lothian, Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk and Essex, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Sligo, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham and three Penduline Tits in Somerset. |

| New White-billed Divers were found off Port Ellen, Islay, Argyll and off Cocklawburn Beach, Northumberland (with further birds seen off Bamburgh, Northumberland and in South Nesting Bay, Shetland).

Scarcity highlights included a Short-toed Lark, a Lapland Bunting, two Shorelarks, four Waxwings, a Little Auk, ten Glossy Ibises, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals, three Surf Scoters, 12 Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, three Black Brants, six Tundra Bean Geese, two Kumlien's Gulls, three Ring-billed Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls and 21 Iceland Gulls. |
