Lingering rarities seen today included the American Buff-bellied Pipit in Western Isles, White-tailed Lapwing in Yorkshire, Wilson's Phalarope in Cheshire /Flintshire, Baird's Sandpipers in Scilly and County Kerry, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Flintshire, Forster's Tern in County Louth, two King Eiders in Shetland and Balearic Woodchat Shrike in Scilly. | Discoveries today were headlined by an American Buff-bellied Pipit on St Kilda, Outer Hebrides, and a
Fea's or Desertas Petrel passing Annagh Head, County Mayo. Elsewhere, lingering rarities confirmed as still present today included the White-tailed Lapwing in East Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Flintshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Balearic Woodchat Shrike on the Isles of Scilly, and two King Eiders on the Shetland Isles. Nearctic waders comprised a Semipalmated Sandpiper new in Argyll on Coll, Wilson's Phalarope in Cheshire, both Baird's Sandpiper and Buff-breasted Sandpiper on the Isles of Scilly, Baird's Sandpiper in County Kerry, Long-billed Dowitcher still in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, and a total of 27 Pectoral Sandpipers. Other scarcities included Woodchat Shrike and Yellow-browed Warbler (Shetland), Hoopoe (Glamorgan), Spotted Crake (Cheshire), Red-backed Shrike (Suffolk), Dotterel (Devon), Ring-billed Gull (County Galway), two Barred Warblers, three Long-tailed Skuas, four each of Common Rosefinch, Wryneck, and Sabine's Gull, six of Rose-coloured Starling and Lapland Bunting, eight Glossy Ibises, and 50 Great Shearwaters. |

Pacific Golden Plover again in Lincolnshire at Frampton Marsh, Forster's Tern
still in County Louth, Snowy Owl in Aberdeenshire, Squacco Heron in Flintshire, Balearic Woodchat Shrike
on the Isles of Scilly, Red-rumped Swallow briefly on the Isle of Wight, Bonaparte's Gull in County Down, and on the Shetland Isles Rustic
Bunting, Blyth's Reed Warbler, and two King Eiders. Nearctic waders today comprised a Wilson's Phalarope new in Cheshire at Burton Mere Wetlands, Lesser Yellowlegs still in County Wexford, American Golden Plover on the Orkney Isles, Long-billed Dowitchers in both County Londonderry and Norfolk, two Buff-breasted Sandpipers, and a total of 30 Pectoral Sandpipers. New waders today included Baird's Sandpiper at Tacumshin in Co.Wexford, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Gunwalloe Cove in Cornwall and Long-billed Dowitcher at Lough Beg in Co.Derry. Shetland delivered Rustic Bunting and Blyth's Reed Warbler on Foula, as well as a new King Eider off East Burra. Making up the day's continuing rarities were the White-tailed Lapwing in East Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Flintshire, Forster's Tern in Co.Louth, Baird's Sandpiper in Co.Kerry, Pacific Golden Plover in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Co.Wexford, Bonaparte's Gulls in Co.Down and Kent, and Greenish Warbler and King Eider in Shetland. The best of the rest included two Ring-necked Ducks, two American Golden Plovers, three Dotterel, three Buff-breasted Sandpipers, 34 Pectoral Sandpipers, five Sabine's Gulls, two White-winged Black Terns, six Glossy Ibises, Purple Heron (Oxfordshire), Hoopoe (Glamorgan), nine Wrynecks, two Red-backed Shrikes, Woodchat Shrike (Fair Isle), Melodious Warbler (Scilly), Icterine Warbler (Co.Cork), four Rose-coloured Starlings, two Bluethroats, three Red-breasted Flycatchers, four Common Rosefinches and two Ortolan Buntings. |

Continuing rarities included White-tailed Lapwing and Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in Flintshire, Snowy Owl in Aberdeenshire, Pacific Golden Plover in Northumberland; Baird's Sandpipers in Co.Cork, Scilly and Western Isles (two); Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Co.Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and King Eider and Greenish Warbler in Shetland. Snowy Owl in Aberdeenshire, Greenish Warbler on the Shetland Isles at Sumburgh,
Bonaparte's Gulls in both County Down and Kent, and a Red-throated
Pipit in Kent at Sandwich Bay albeit only briefly. Nearctic waders today comprised Baird's Sandpipers in County Cork, County Galway, Isles of Scilly, and the Western Isles (2), Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, County Waterford, and County Wexford, American Golden Plover on the Orkney Isles, seven Buff-breasted Sandpipers, and 40 Pectoral Sandpipers; including nine together at Tacumshin, County Wexford. | New discoveries today included an Isabelline Wheatear at Easington, Yorkshire, a Booted Warbler on Fetlar, Shetland, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Boulmer and a Pacific Golden Plover on Holy Island, both Northumberland, a Baird's Sandpiper at Timoleague and another on Haulbowline, both County Cork, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Tacumshin, County Wexford and another at Lochmaddy, Western Isles, a Pallid Harrier at Toe Head, County Cork, a Wilson's Petrel off Newquay, Cornwall and a Lesser Scaup on North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Paddyfield Warbler off the Isle of Man
on Calf of Man. Rarities elswwhere included White-tailed Lapwing and Black-browed Albatross both still in East Yorkshire, Squacco Heron still in Flintshire,
Black Duck in County Mayo, Balearic Woodchat Shrike on the Isles of Scilly,
Bonaparte's Gull in County Down, both Blyth's Reed Warbler and King Eider on Shetland Isles, a flyover
Black Stork in Essex, and a brief Red-rumped Swallow in Kent. Nearctic waders today comprised Baird's Sandpipers in County Cork, the Isles of Scilly, and the Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Mayo and Suffolk, American Golden Plover on the Orkney Isles, four Buff-breasted Sandpipers, and 28 Pectoral Sandpipers. Nearctic waders today comprised single Baird's Sandpipers in both County Cork and County Kerry, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Mayo (3) and Suffolk, four Buff-breasted Sandpipers, and a total of 26 Pectoral Sandpipers. Arctic Warblers still together on Mainland, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler new-in on Fair Isle. Nearctic waders comprised Baird's Sandpiper still in County Cork, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, three Buff-breasted Sandpipers, and a total of 23 Pectoral Sandpipers.
