The Northern Mockingbird in Devon remained in Devon, while the White-winged Scoter made another appearance in Lothian. Other rarities still in place were the American Herring Gull in Cornwall, the three Penduline Tits in Somerset, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Bonaparte's Gull in Gloucestershire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon and Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Northumberland. The best of the rest included Kumlien's Gull (Co.Kerry), Yellow-browed Warbler (Sussex), American Wigeon (Shetland), three Little Buntings and Surf Scoters, four Green-winged Teal, seven Glossy Ibises and 16 Ring-necked Ducks. |

There was a late report of an Iberian Chiffchaff in Hampshire on Thursday. Positive updates were received on the Northern Mockingbird in Devon, American Herring Gull in Cornwall, Black Scoter in Highland, Pied-billed Grebe in Lancashire, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Bufflehead in Co.Cork, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Western Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Co.Wexford and Bonaparte's Gull in Gloucestershire. The day's scarcity highlights included Serin (Hampshire), Rose-coloured Starling (Borders), Great Grey Shrike (Suffolk), Ring-billed Gull (Co.Louth), Kumlien's Gull (Co.Kerry), Taiga Bean Goose (Suffolk), Black Brant (Co.Dublin), Todd's Canada Goose (Lancashire), two Yellow-browed Warblers and American Wigeon, three Little Buntings, six Surf Scoters and Glossy Ibises and 22 Ring-billed Gulls. |

Today's continuing rarities were the Northern Mockingbird in Devon, Double-crested Cormorant in Co.Kerry, American Herring Gull in Cornwall, Pied-billed Grebe in Lancashire, Laughing Gull in Dorset, two female King Eiders in Co.Donegal, Rustic Bunting in Surrey and two Long-billed Dowitchers in Co.Wexford. Among additional highlights were Rose-coloured Starling (Borders), Long-tailed Skua in Co.Antrim, Yellow-browed Warbler in Sussex; three Little Buntings, Ring-billed Gulls and Green-winged Teal; and nine Ring-necked Ducks. |

Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (County Kerry), American Wigeon (Cleveland), Great Grey Shrike (Suffolk), Yellow-browed Warbler (Buckinghamshire), two each of both Little Bunting and Glossy Ibis, five Green-winged Teals, nine Lapland Buntings, and a total of 23 Ring-necked Ducks. Incoming spring migrants included Hobby (Suffolk), Cuckoo (Dorset), Sedge Warbler (Somerset), House Martin (Wiltshire), three Common Terns, five Ring Ouzels, six Ospreys, seven Swallows, 11 each of Garganey and Willow Warblers, 22 White Wagtails, and 63 Wheatears. |
