| In Norfolk, a Coues's Arctic Redpoll was discovered in Wells Woods, whilst a second Dusky Warbler joined the long staying bird at Ainsdale, Merseyside.
Lingering rarities included the Northern Mockingbird in Devon, Rustic Bunting in Surrey and Lammergeier in Norfolk. Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, two Little Buntings, 12 Lapland Buntings, a Little Auk, a Grey Phalarope, three Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, two Surf Scoters, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, two Black Brants, four Tundra Bean Geese, a Pomarine Skua, a Kumlien's Gull, a Ring-billed Gull, eight Glaucous Gulls and 18 Iceland Gulls. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan at Cardiff Bay. Rarities elsewhere comprised the Rustic Bunting still in Surrey at Thursley Common, and the Spotted Sandpiper still in Ayrshire at Croy Shore. Scarcities included Surf Scoter (Lothian), Great Grey Shrike (Devon), Grey Phalarope (North Yorkshire), Black Brant (Suffolk), two Rose-coloured Starlings, two Little Buntings (together in Surrey), four Lapland Buntings, five Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of seven Glossy Ibises. |

| Rarities today comprised the Northern Mockingbird still in Devon at
Exmouth, White-throated Sparrow still in East Sussex at Barcombe Cross, Rustic Bunting in Surrey,
Spotted Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in North Yorkshire, two King Eiders
together in County Donegal, and Lesser Yellowlegs in both County Waterford and County Wexford. Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Dorset), Ring-billed Gull (County Wicklow), American Wigeon (Northumberland), Kumlien's Gull (Cambridgeshire), two each of both Little Bunting and Black Brant, three of Great Grey Shrike and Lapland Bunting, five Glossy Ibises, six Ring-necked Ducks, 17 Waxwings, and a total of 43 Smew. |

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Dorset), two Little Buntings (Surrey), Ring-billed Gull (Co.Antrim), Kumlien's Gull (Cambridgeshire), Surf Scoter (Lothian), American Wigeon (Northumberland), four Ring-necked Ducks, Grey Phalarope (East Yorkshire), three Glossy Ibises, Yellow-browed Warbler (Dorset) and three Waxwings (North Yorkshire). |

| In Norfolk, an adult Lammergeier was seen over Bylaugh Park near Bawdeswell.
Lingering rarities still present today included the Northern Mockingbird in Devon, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Dusky Warbler in Merseyside, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon and White-billed Divers in Shetland and Orkney (2). Scarcity highlights included a Shorelark, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Yellow-browed Warbler, two Little Buntings, two Great Grey Shrikes, two Grey Phalaropes, a Green-winged Teal, an American Wigeon, six Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, a Snow Goose, four Black Brants, 18 Tundra Bean Geese, two Kumlien's Gulls, nine Glaucous Gulls and 19 Iceland Gulls. |

| A Dusky Warbler discovered today in North Yorkshire at Ainderby Steeple is
the furthest north of the fifteen Dusky Warblers located in England since 1st December 2020. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were in Devon both the Northern Mockingbird at Exmouth and Lesser Yellowlegs at Aveton Gifford, the White-throated Sparrow in East Sussex at Barcombe, Rustic Bunting in Surrey at Thursley Common, Dusky Warbler in Merseyside at Ainsdale. Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (County Limerick), Great Grey Shrike (Surrey), Grey Phalarope (Northumberland), Glossy Ibis (Kent), two each of Little Bunting and Green-winged Teal, three of Yellow-browed Warbler and Kumlien's Gull, and a total of 10 Ring-necked Ducks. |

| In Devon, the Northern Mockingbird remained in Exmouth, with other lingering rarities including the Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Dusky Warbler in Merseyside and Spotted Sandpiper in Ayrshire.
Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, a Yellow-browed Warbler, two Little Buntings, four Lapland Buntings, three Grey Phalaropes, a Green-winged Teal, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, two Todd's Canada Geese, seven Tundra Bean Geese, two Ring-billed Gulls, two Kumlien's Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls and 17 Iceland Gulls. |

| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Northern Mockingbird in Devon at Exmouth where it was first seen around a month ago. Rarities elsewhere comprised the White-winged Scoter again in Lothian at Eastfield, the Rustic Bunting still in Surrey, Lesser Yellowlegs still in Devon, and two Richardson's Cackling Geese together on the Western Isles. Scarcities included Sabine's Gull (Angus), Kumlien's Gull (County Armagh), Black Brant (Dorset), two each of Surf Scoter, Green-winged Teal, Great Grey Shrike, Yellow-browed Warbler, and Leach's Petrel, three Little Buntings, four Ring-billed Gulls, and a total of eight Ring-necked Ducks. Significant late news concerns the Forster's Tern again present yesterday in County Galway; it is beieved to be the same individual that was first seen there on 26th November 2003. |

News of Britain's third Northern Mockingbird in Exmouth, Devon, for its third day shook things up considerably. The previous records are from 1982 and 1988. The Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Lesser Scaup and King Eider in Co.Kerry, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Western Isles and Lesser Yellowlegs in Co.Waterford were all still present. Among the scarcities were two Great Grey Shrikes, two Little Buntings (Surrey), three Ring-billed Gulls, Kumlien's Gull (Co.Cork), Little Auk (Fife) and seven Ring-necked Ducks. |
