Thursday 28th January 2021  
  The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Spotted Sandpiper in Ayrshire at Culzean Bay where it had previously been logged on 16th-19th October 2020.

Rarities lingering elsewhere comprised the Bufflehead still in Warwickshire at Coton, Rustic Bunting in Surrey at Thursley Common, King Eider in County Kerry at Castlegregory, and a White-billed Diver still on the Shetland Isles.

Scarcities included American Wigeon (Northumberland), Ring-billed Gull (County Wicklow), Green-winged Teal (Devon), Rose-coloured Starling and Glossy Ibis (Dorset), Great Grey Shrike and Yellow-browed Warbler (Surrey), two each of Little Bunting, Ring-necked Duck, Lapland Bunting, and Kumlien's Gull, and a total of 10 Waxwings.

Wednesday 27th January 2021  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an adult male Bufflehead in Warwickshire at Coton. The adult male present in County Down since 5th December was last reported on 8th January and may be the same individual.

Elsewhere, the Eastern Yellow Wagtail remains in Northumberland at Prestwick Carr, Rose-coloured Starling in Dorset, American Wigeon in Northumberland, Green-winged Teal in Western Isles, two Black Brants, three Ring-necked Ducks, four each of both Yellow-browed Warbler and Glossy Ibis, and a total of 124 Lapland Buntings (including 119 together in East Yorkshire).

Tuesday 26th January 2021  
  A White-billed Diver was found off North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

Lingering rarities included the Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Northumberland, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Dusky Warbler in Kent, Kentish Plover in Somerset and White-billed Diver in Highland.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, two Little Buntings, at least 167 Lapland Buntings, five Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, two Tundra Bean Geese, a Ring-billed Gull, six Glaucous Gulls and 19 Iceland Gulls.

Monday 25th January 2021  
  Lingering rarities seen today included the Rustic Bunting in Surrey and Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Little Bunting, a Yellow-browed Warbler, two Rose-coloured Starlings, a Rough-legged Buzzard, a Grey Phalarope, three Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, a Green-winged Teal, a Surf Scoter, ten Ring-necked Ducks, five Tundra Bean Geese, three Ring-billed Gulls, ten Glaucous Gulls and 17 Iceland Gulls.

Sunday 24th January 2021  
  A Dusky Warbler was found at Siddington, Gloucestershire and a White-billed Diver was off Lusa Mouth, Isle of Skye, Highland.

Lingering rarities included the Eastern Yellow Wagtails in Suffolk and Northumberland, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Dusky Warblers in Merseyside and Cheshire and Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire.

Scarcity highlights included a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Black-bellied Dipper, a Lapland Bunting, two Little Buntings, two Rose-coloured Starlings, 23 Waxwings, six Glossy Ibises, a Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, a Green-winged Teal, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, three Tundra Bean Geese, four Ring-billed Gulls, 11 Glaucous Gulls and 19 Iceland Gulls.

Saturday 23rd January 2021  
  A Bufflehead was found at Nohoval, County Cork.

Lingering rarities included the Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Northumberland, Rustiuc Bunting in Surrey and Dusky Warbler in Merseyside.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, two Little Buntings, two Lapland Buntings, two Black-bellied Dippers, two Yellow-browed Warblers, 15 Waxwings, four Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, four Surf Scoters, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, a Taiga Bean Goose, six Tundra Bean Geese, five Ring-billed Gulls, 14 Glaucous Gulls and 32 Iceland Gulls.

Friday 22nd January 2021  
  A Lesser Scaup was found in County Clare at Ardcloony.

Lingering rarities included the Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Dusky Warbler in Kent and King Eider in County Kerry.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, two Little Buntings, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Rose-coloured Starlings, three Waxwings, 100 Lapland Buntings, three Glossy Ibises, two Grey Phalaropes, a Surf Scoter, a Green-winged Teal, three Ring-necked Ducks, three Black Brants, seven Tundra Bean Geese, two Ring-billed Gulls, 14 Glaucous Gulls and 25 Iceland Gulls.

Thursday 21st January 2021  
 

The Lesser Scaup in Co.Waterford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon and Rustic Bunting in Surrey were still present (the latter alongside the two Little Buntings). A new Rustic Bunting was found in Co.Waterford.

Scarcities included two Rose-coloured Starlings, three Waxwings (Highland), two Yellow-browed Warblers, four Ring-billed Gulls, Kumlien's Gull (Cambridgeshire), Surf Scoter (Co.Meath), Green-winged Teal (Co.Wexford), seven Ring-necked Ducks, two Grey Phalaropes (North Yorkshire) and Glossy Ibis (Dorset).

Wednesday 20th January 2021  
  The Rustic Bunting was still present at Thursley, Surrey.

Scarcity highlights included two Little Buntings, two Grey Phalaropes, a Surf Scoter, two Green-winged Teals, three Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, a Rough-legged Buzzard, a Ring-billed Gull, three Glaucous Gulls and 14 Iceland Gulls.

Tuesday 19th January 2021  
  Rarities today comprised the Rustic Bunting still together with two Little Buntings in Surrey on Thursley Common, and a White-billed Diver off Unst, Shetland Isles.

Other scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Anglesey), Ring-billed Gull (County Wicklow), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Black Brant (County Dublin), American Wigeon and Shorelark (both Northumberland), two each of Yellow-browed Warbler and Green-winged Teal, four Waxwings, and a total of nine Ring-necked Ducks.
