in Pembrokeshire at Martin's Haven, Bee-eater in Dorset at Portland, and three
White-billed Divers located on the Shetland Isles. Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (West Sussex), Serin (Norfolk), Rough-legged Buzzard (Kent), Dotterel (Cambridgeshire), Hoopoe (Dorset and East Sussex), two Glaucous Gulls and four Iceland Gulls. |

Late news from yesterday concerned the Steller's Eider still in Orkney and a Black-winged Stilt in Norfolk. A juvenile Pallid Harrier in Norfolk flew east over Weybourne then Sheringham. In North Yorkshire, a Black Kite flew over Harrogate. Four White-billed Divers were off Cullen in Moray. The Lesser Kestrel remained on Scilly Scarcities included Night Heron (Scilly), three Hoopoes, two Purple Herons, three Glossy Ibises and a report of a Great Grey Shrike (Suffolk). |

| Tuesday 21st April 2020 | ||

| A Savi's Warbler was found at Brading Marshes RSPB, Isle of Wight, and an Alpine Swift was in the Blackdown Hills, Somerset. Late news from yesterday concerned a Citrine Wagtail at Siddick Ponds, Cumbria.
The Lesser Kestrel lingering in Scilly. Scarcity highlights included a Woodchat Shrike, a Lapland Bunting, a Waxwing, three Hoopoes, a Purple Heron, two Glossy Ibises, a Green-winged Teal, a Black Brant, two Montagu's Harriers, a Ring-billed Gull, three Glaucous Gulls and four Iceland Gulls. |

| Rarities today comprised the Lesser Kestrel still on the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, the
Collared Pratincole still in County Cork at The Gearagh, and a Red-rumped Swallow discovered in Pembrokeshire at Heathfield. Scarcities included Bluethroat (Orkney Isles), Serin (Isles of Scilly), Richard's Pipit (Lincolnshire), Purple Heron (Dorset), Montagu's Harrier (Kent), Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), Pectoral Sandpiper (Cheshire), Lapland Bunting (Western Isles), Waxwing (Argyll), two each of both Iceland Gull and Glaucous Gull, six migrant Dotterel, and eight Hoopoes. Late news concerned a female Bufflehead present yesterday in Kent near Folkestone. |

An Alpine Swift was found at Far Ings in Lincolnshire, a White-billed Diver was off North Ronaldsay in Orkney and a Red-rumped Swallow appeared in West Sussex. The Lesser Kestrel was still on Scilly and the Collared Pratincole was still in Co.Cork. Scarcities included singles of Green-winged Teal, Pectoral Sandpiper, Glossy Ibis, Night Heron, Wryneck, Hoopoe and Pomarine Skua. |

| A Collared Pratincole was found at The Gearagh, County Cork, and an Eastern Subalpine Warbler was trapped and ringed at Sandwick, Shetland.
The Lesser Kestrel lingered in Scilly. Scarcity highlights included a Hoopoe, a Wryneck, two Lapland Buntings, 15 Waxwings, a Pectoral Sandpiper, four Dotterel, a Ring-necked Duck, a Green-winged Teal, a Black Brant, three Glaucous Gulls and six Iceland Gulls. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of Red-rumped Swallows in Conwy at Great Ormes Head and in East Sussex at Piddinghoe. Elsewhere, the Lesser Kestrel remained on the Isles of Scilly, Serin and Wryneck were seen in Cornwall, Ring-necked Duck in Bedfordshire, Green-winged Teal in Angus, Lapland Bunting in County Donegal, both Yellow-browed Warbler and two Dotterel in East Yorkshire, three Hoopoes, and 15 Waxwings. Notable migrants included a total of 47 Black Terns, four Garganey, two Turtle Doves, Wood Warbler (Somerset), Wood Sandpiper (Lancashire), Quail (Merseyside), and Blue-headed Wagtail (Lincolnshire). |

An Eastern Subalpine Warbler was found on Ramsey Island in Pembrokeshire. Still with us were the Steller's Eider and White-billed Diver still in Orkney and the Lesser Kestrel on Scilly, Scarcities included Purple Heron, two Serins, Great Grey Shrike, three Hoopoes and two Green-winged Teal. |

| New discoveries today included an Iberian Chiffchaff at Rhiw, Gwynedd, a Bee-eater at Barnstaple, Devon and a Black Kite over Hornchurch, London. Significant news from yesterday concerned a Short-toed Treecreeper at Dungeness, Kent.
Lingering rarities included just the Lesser Kestrel in Scilly. Scarcity highlights included a Hoopoe, two Wrynecks, 16 Waxwings, a Corncrake, a Rough-legged Buzzard, two Pomarine Skuas, a Black Brant, a Ring-necked Duck, a Green-winged Teal, four Glaucous Gulls and eight Iceland Gulls. |

| The highlights of the day were single Hoopoes in both Hampshire and West Sussex,
Richard's Pipit in Lincolnshire, two Dotterel together in Pembrokeshire, two
Balearic Shearwaters off the Isles of Scilly, four Iceland Gulls, five Glaucous
Gulls, and a total of 32 Waxwings. Incoming spring migrants included Wood Sandpiper (Dorset), Spotted Flycatcher (Aberdeenshire), Swift (Essex), and Garganey (Norfolk and Northamptonshire). |
