Monday 5th August 2019  
  The first Fea's/Desertas Petrel of the year was seen this evening from a pelagic off the Isles of Scilly. A Kentish Plover visited Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire briefly, and three Two-barred Crossbills were at Norwick, Unst, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Squacco Heron in Sussex, Snowy Owl in Shetland, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Wilson's Petrel in Scilly, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wexford, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire (two) and Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and Ferruginous Duck in Sussex.

Scarcity highlights included a Grey Phalarope, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a White-winged Black Tern, a Montagu's Harrier, a Glossy Ibis and two Surf Scoters.

  A White-rumped Sandpiper was a new discovery at Kilnsea, Yorkshire.

Lingering rarities included the Aquatic Warbler in Fife, Pacific Golden Plover in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and Ferruginous Duck in Sussex.

Scarcity highlights included a Marsh Warbler, four Icterine Warblers, a White-winged Black Tern, a Pectoral Sandpiper, two Temminck's Stints and two Glossy Ibises.
