The best of the rest included Kumlien's Gull (Cornwall), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Lapland Bunting (Norfolk), White-tailed Eagle (Shetland), two Taiga Bean Geese, American Wigeons and Yellow-browed Warblers, three Tundra Bean Geese, four Ring-necked Ducks, Great Grey Shrikes and Rough-legged Buzzards, seven Glossy Ibises and 20 Shorelarks. |

A Red-rumped Swallow was found at Youghal, Co.Cork. Ongoing rarities were represented by Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, The best of the rest were two Rough-legged Buzzards, 16 Shorelarks, Richard's Pipit, Pallas's Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, a Lapland Bunting, two Great Grey Shrikes, two Surf Scoters, three Green-winged Teal, an American Wigeon, three Ring-necked Ducks, two Glossy Ibises, a Kumlien's Gull, 10 Iceland Gulls, four Glaucous Gulls, and two vagrant White-tailed Eagles (West Sussex and Shetland). Spring migrants included 150 Sand Martins, a House Martin, 11 Swallows, a White Wagtail and five Wheatears. |

| Rarities today comprised the Pied-billed Grebe still on the Shetland Isles,
Red-rumped Swallow on the Isles of Scilly and Lesser Yellowlegs in both Cornwall and Dorset. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, Temminck's Stint (all Cornwall), Hoopoe (Pembrokeshire), American Wigeon (Worcestershire), Rough-legged Buzzard (Kent), Lapland Bunting (Cleveland), Great Grey Shrike (Nottinghamshire), Snow Goose (County Wexford), two Ring-necked Ducks, three Glossy Ibises and five Shorelarks. Incoming spring migrants included single House Martin and White Wagtail, two Swallows, three Wheatears and a total of 29 Sand Martins. |

Three White-billed Divers were found off Portsoy, Aberdeenshire. Continuing rarities reported today were the Pied-billed Grebe in Shetland, Penduline Tit in Greater London, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Scarcities included a Hoopoe, two Great Grey Shrikes, two Yellow-browed Warblers, 23 Shorelarks, Richard's Pipit, Common Rosefinch, Little Bunting, Temminck's Stint, three Glossy Ibises, two Rough-legged Buzzards, a Black Brant, Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, six Green-winged Teal, six Ring-necked Ducks, four Ring-billed Gulls, three Kumlien's Gulls, 11 Iceland Gulls and six Glaucous Gulls. |

| Rarities today comprised the Pied-billed Grebe still on the Shetland Isles,
Red-rumped Swallow on the Isles of Scilly, Penduline Tit in Dorset,
Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire,
Lesser Yellowlegs in both Cornwall and Dorset and White-billed Divers
off the Orkney Isles, Shetland Isles and Western Isles. Scarcities included Little Bunting (Norfolk), Common Rosefinch (Shetland Isles), Richard's Pipit (County Wexford), American Wigeon (Worcestershire), Ring-necked Duck (Dorset), Glossy Ibis (East Sussex), two each of both Rough-legged Buzzard and Great Grey Shrike, three Ring-billed Gulls, five Yellow-browed Warblers and a total of nine Shorelarks. Spring migrants were represented by a Little Ringed Plover (Hampshire), two Ospreys, four Wheatears, six Swallows and a total of 87 Sand Martins across 19 counties. |

| Rarities today comprised the Red-rumped Swallow still on the Isles of Scilly,
Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk and
Pied-billed Grebe on the Shetland Isles but there there was no sign of the Tengmalm's Owl. Early migrants recorded were Osprey (Fife), Little Ringed Plover (Hampshire), four House Martins and a total of 83 Sand Martins across 19 counties. Scarcities included Little Bunting (Norfolk), Richard's Pipit (County Wexford), American Wigeon (Highland), Temminck's Stint (Cornwall), two each of Ring-billed Gull, Great Grey Shrike, Lapland Bunting and Glossy Ibis, three Ring-necked Ducks and a total of 25 Shorelarks. |

| Lingering rarities still present today included the Tengmalm's Owl at Tresta, Pied-billed Grebe at Loch of Spiggie and White-billed Diver at Kirkabister, all Shetland, Coues's Arctic Redpoll at Sculthorpe Moor, Norfolk, Penduline Tit at Crossness, London, Red-rumped Swallow at Porth Hellick, Scilly, Spotted Sandpipers at Ferrybank, County Wexford and Killongford, County Waterford, Long-billed Dowitcher at Frampton Marsh, Lincolnshire and Lesser Yellowlegs at Lodmoor, Dorset.
Scarcity highlights included a Common Rosefinch, a Richard's Pipit, two Little Buntings, two Great Grey Shrikes, six Yellow-browed Warblers, 26 Shorelarks, a Temminck's Stint, a Pomarine Skua, two Rough-legged Buzzards, two Glossy Ibises, a Snow Goose, four Tundra Bean Geese, an American Wigeon, two Surf Scoters, five Ring-necked Ducks, six Green-winged Teal, a Ring-billed Gull and two Kumlien's Gulls. |

| Rarities today comprised the Tengmalm's Owl, Pied-billed Grebe, Coues's Acrtic Redpoll
and two White-billed Divers all on the Shetland Isles, single Penduline Tits in both Dorset and London,
Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset,
Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll and
White-billed Diver on the Western Isles. Spring arrivals were again headlined by a Red-rumped Swallow on the Isles of Scilly and supported by a Swift in Cornwall, two each of House Martin and White Wagtail, four Wheatears, 11 Swallows and a total of 190 Sand Martins across 22 counties. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Cornwall), Richard's Pipit (County Wexford), Common Rosefinch (Shetland Isles), Great Grey Shrike (Nottinghamshire), Ring-billed Gull and Temminck's Stint (both Cornwall), two each of Ring-necked Duck and Yellow-browed Warbler, five Glossy Ibises, and 15 Shorelarks. |

| Rarities today comprised the Tengmalm's Owl and Pied-billed Grebe both still on the Shetland Isles, Forster's
Tern seen again in County Galway, Coues's Arctic Redpoll still in Norfolk,
Long-billed Dowitcher in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset and
White-billed Diver on the Western Isles. Spring migrants were led by two Red-rumped Swallows together on the Isles of Scilly and supported by a House Martin, two each of Little Ringed Plover and Swallow, four Wheatears and nine Sand Martins. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler and Temminck's Stint (Cornwall), Rose-coloured Starling (Conwy), Richard's Pipit (County Wexford), Ring-billed Gull (County Louth), Snow Goose (County Wexford), two each of American Wigeon and Glossy Ibis, four of Ring-necked Duck and Rough-legged Buzzard, five Yellow-browed Warblers and a total of 20 Shorelarks. |
