| Rarities today comprised the territorial Little Bittern still in Shropshire,
Snowy Owl on the Western Isles, and Bonaparte's Gull and a family of
Black-winged Stilts still together in Kent. Scarcities included Little Bunting (Western Isles), Purple Heron (Warwickshire), Red-backed Shrike (Surrey), Temminck's Stint (Norfolk), Pectoral Sandpiper (Northumberland), Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire), two Rose-coloured Starlings, and three Cattle Egrets. |
