| Rarities today comprised the Pied-billed Grebe still on the Shetland Isles,
Long-billed Dowitcher in Kent and Dusky Warblers in both Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Scarcities included Hoopoe (Dorset), Red-necked Phalarope (Lincolnshire), Richard's Pipit (two together in East Yorkshire), American Golden Plover (Cornwall and Western Isles), Surf Scoter (two together in Cornwall) and four American Wigeons. |
