  New discoveries included an Alpine Swift in Cleveland/Co Durham, Red-rumped Swallow in Gwent, Iberian Chiffchaff in Isles of Scilly, Black-winged Stilts in Essex (2) and Isle of Wight and King Eider in Highland. Lingering rarities comprised Ferruginous Duck (Northumberland), Lesser Yellowlegs and Hume's Warbler (Dorset), Hudsonian Whimbrel (Cornwall) and seven White-billed Divers (Aberdeenshire [4] and Moray [3]).

The best of the rest included Hoopoes (Cornwall and Pembrokeshire) and Rose-coloured Starling (Norfolk).

Wednesday 29th March 2017  
  Rarity highlights included a Black-winged Stilt in East Sussex, Ferruginous Duck in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gulls in Co Kerry and Devon, King Eider in Co Sligo, Black Duck in Highland, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and White-billed Diver in Western Isles.

The best of the rest included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Little Bunting (East Yorkshire), two Hoopoes (Cornwall), two Richard's Pipits (Dorset) and two Yellow-browed Warblers.

Tuesday 28th March 2017  
  The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll at Loch Feorlin where it was previously been present on 30th May-6th June 2014 and again between 6th May-5th August 2016.

Elsewhere, a Richardson's Cackling Goose was found in County Mayo on The Mullet, whilst lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Killdeer on the Shetland Isles, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Red-flanked Bluetail in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, and single Bonaparte's Gulls in both Devon and County Kerry.

Scarcities included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Glossy Ibis (Leicestershire), Yellow-browed Warbler (Cornwall), two each of both American Wigeon and Surf Scoter, three Green-winged Teals, four of both Ring-billed Gull and Lapland Bunting, 13 Great Grey Shrikes, 15 Shorelarks, and a total of 47 Cattle Egrets.

Monday 27th March 2017  
  Rarities discovered today comprised a Dusky Warbler in Cornwall at Polgigga, single White-billed Divers in Moray at Burghead and in the Western Isles on Barra, and in Aberdeenshire the King Eider returned to the Ythan Estuary.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Killdeer on the Shetland Isles, both Red-flanked Bluetail and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, King Eider in County Kerry, and single Bonaparte's Gulls in both Cornwall and Devon.

Scarcities included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire), Hoopoe (Pembrokeshire), Surf Scoter (Shetland Isles), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon), Glossy Ibis (Leicestershire), Rough-legged Buzzard (Norfolk), two each of Richard's Pipit, American Wigeon, Lesser Snow Goose and Lapland Bunting, three Ring-billed Gulls, four Ring-necked Ducks, 13 Great Grey Shrikes, 21 Shorelarks, and a total of 29 Cattle Egrets.

Sunday 26th March 2017  
  New discoveries included an Alpine Swift on Isles of Scilly and Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, whilst the Red-flanked Bluetail and Pallid Harrier (Norfolk), Iberian Chiffchaff (Gloucestershire), White-billed Diver (Orkney), Blue Rock Thrush (Gloucestershire), Hume's Warbler (Dorset), Hudsonian Whimbrel (Cornwall), Forster's Tern (Co Galway) and Eastern Black Redstart (Cleveland) all lingered. Two Blue-winged Teals were reported in Nottinghamshire and a Bonaparte's Gull was reported in Cornwall.

The best of the rest included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire) and two Yellow-browed Warblers.

Saturday 25th March 2017  
  New discoveries today included a singing Iberian Chiffchaff in Yate, Gloucestershire, a Red-flanked Bluetail at Titchwell RSPB, Norfolk and an Alpine Swift at Tacumshin, County Wexford.

Lingering rarities included the Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

Friday 24th March 2017  
  New discoveries today included a White-billed Diver on Tory Island, County Donegal and a drake Ferruginous Duck at Killingworth Lake, Northumberland.

Lingering rarities included the Hume's Warbler in Dorset, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, King Eider in County Kerry, Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ayrshire and four White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire.

Thursday 23rd March 2017  
  New discoveries included eight White-billed Divers off the Aberdeenshire coastline, with another in Moray, and a Bonaparte's Gull arrived in Ayrshire, whilst Pallid Harrier (Norfolk), Long-billed Dowitcher (Co Wexford) and Ferruginous Duck (Northumberland) all lingered.

The best of the rest included Bluethroat (Lincolnshire) and Little Bunting (Bedfordshire).

Wednesday 22nd March 2017  
  Rarity highlights included Lesser Scaup (Merseyside), Pallid Harrier (Norfolk), Hume's Warbler (Dorset) and Bonaparte's Gull (Cornwall).

The best of the rest included three Yellow-browed Warblers (Cornwall [2] and North Yorkshire) and Bluethroat (Lincolnshire).

  Lingering rarities included Alpine Swift (Clyde), Pallid Harrier (Norfolk), Bonaparte's Gull (Cornwall), Eastern Black Redstart (Cleveland), Hume's Warbler (Dorset) and Snowy Owl (Orkney).

The best of the rest included Rose-coloured Starling (West Sussex), Temminck's Stint (Staffordshire) and Bluethroat (Lincolnshire).
