  Lingering rarities seen today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Collared Pratincole and Little Bittern in Somerset, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, White-billed Diver in Moray, single Bonaparte's Gulls in Kent and Northumberland and two Wilson's Petrels off County Galway.

Scarcities included a Sabine's Gull in Derbyshire, a Pectoral Sandpiper and a White Stork in Yorkshire, a Cory's Shearwater off Scilly, a Temminck's Stint in Northumberland and three Glossy Ibises.

Tuesday 12th July 2016  
  The best new discovery was a Spotted Sandpiper on Skokholm (Pembrokeshire), whilst American White-winged Scoter (Aberdeenshire), Hudsonian Whimbrel (Cornwall), White-billed Diver (Moray), Bonaparte's Gull (Northumberland), Little Bitterns (South Yorkshire and Somerset) and Collared Pratincole (Somerset) all lingered.

The best of the rest included Common Rosefinch (London), White-winged Black Tern (South Yorkshire), Temminck's Stint (Northumberland), Cattle Egret (Kent), Green-winged Teal (Cheshire) and inland Roseate Tern in Leicestershire.<

Monday 11th July 2016  
  Rarity highlights included a Collared Pratincole and three Little Bitterns in Somerset, American White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in Isles of Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, White-billed Diver in Moray, Bee-eater in East Yorkshire and Dalmatian Pelican in Devon.

The best of the rest included White-winged Black Tern in South Yorkshire, Temminck's Stint and Red-necked Phalarope in Northumberland, Common Rosefinch in Argyll and four Glossy Ibises.

Sunday 10th July 2016  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Collared Pratincole in Somerset at Ham Wall, where a Little Bittern remained.

Elsewhere, lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the American White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, both the Dalmatian Pelican and Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, Iberian Chiffchaff on the Isles of Scilly, and the Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland.

Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (South Yorkshire), Common Rosefinch (London), Pectoral Sandpiper (Norfolk), Cattle Egret (Cambridgeshire), two Surf Scoters, and a total of nine Glossy Ibises.

Seawatching produced four Cory's Shearwaters and a Sabine's Gull passing headlands in County Cork, and a Leach's Petrel off Glamorgan.

Saturday 9th July 2016  
  Lingering rarities seen today included the American White-winged Scoter and King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Little Bitterns in South Yorkshire and Somerset and Bonaparte's Gulls in Kent and Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Common Rosefinch, a White-winged Black Tern, a Cory's Shearwater, a Red-necked Phalarope, a Surf Scoter, a White Stork, three Glossy Ibises and four Pomarine Skuas.

Friday 8th July 2016  
  New discoveries today included an adult Bonaparte's Gull at Oare Marshes, Kent and a Wilson's Petrel over the Porcupine Bank west of Slyne Head, County Galway.

Lingering rarities included just the American White-winged Scoter and King Eider in Aberdeenshire and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall.

Scarcity highlights were a White-winged Black Tern in South Yorkshire, Common Rosefinch in London, Golden Oriole in Suffolk, Temminck's Stint in Norfolk, Red-necked Phalarope in Northumberland and Glossy Ibises in Kent, Essex, South Yorkshire, Somerset (two) and County Clare (two).

Thursday 7th July 2016  
  Rarities today comprised the American White-winged Scoter and King Eider both still in Aberdeenshire, Dalmatian Pelican still in Cornwall, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland.

Scarcities included a mobile White-winged Black Tern in West Yorkshire then South Yorkshire, Common Rosefinch (London), Cory's Shearwater (Isles of Scilly), Temminck's Stint (Norfolk), Ring-billed Gull (County Fermanagh), Montagu's Harrier (East Yorkshire), and Glossy Ibises (Kent, Merseyside and Shropshire).

Wednesday 6th July 2016  
  New discoveries today included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Cley and a Black Kite at Wymondham, both Norfolk.

Lingering rarities included the American White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, single Little Bitterns in Yorkshire and Somerset and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Common Rosefinch, a Surf Scoter, a Green-winged Teal, a Pomarine Skua, a Glossy Ibis, a White Stork and two Golden Orioles.

Tuesday 5th July 2016  
  Rarities today comprised the American White-winged Scoter still in Aberdeenshire, the Dalmatian Pelican again in Cornwall, territorial Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull still in Northumberland, and a Bee-eater on the Isle of Wight briefly.

Scarcities included Common Rosefinch (London), Great Shearwater (County Waterford), Surf Scoter (Lothian), and Glossy Ibis (both Shropshire and Suffolk).

Monday 4th July 2016  
  Lingering rarities comprised Great Knot (Norfolk), American White-winged Scoter (Aberdeenshire), Little Bittern (South Yorkshire), Bonaparte's Gull (Northumberland) and Hudsonian Whimbrel (Cornwall), whilst the long-staying Dalmatian Pelican had reportedly moved east into Devon, a Bee-eater flew over Cromer (Norfolk) and a Wilson's Petrel was logged from an Isles of Scilly pelagic.

The best of the rest included Red-backed Shrike (Kent), Serins (Dorset and Cornwall), Red-necked Phalarope (Northumberland), Common Rosefinch (London) and four Glossy Ibies.
