  Lingering rarities comprised Gyr (Western Isles), Long-billed Dowitcher (Leicestershire and Hampshire), Forster's Tern (Co Galway), Pacific Diver (Cornwall), Ferruginous Duck (Co Durham), Glaucous-winged Gull (Co Cork), King Eider and Richardson's Cackling Goose (Co Sligo), Lesser Scaup (Glamorgan), King Eider (Co Wexford) and Penduline Tit (Essex).

The best of the rest included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Cattle Egret (Suffolk), three American Wigeons and five Glossy Ibises.

Wednesday 16th March 2016  
  Rarity sightings comprised Gyr (Western Isles), Penduline Tits (Cleveland [2], Gloucestershire [2] and Essex), Long-billed Dowitchers (Leicestershire and Northumberland), Pacific Diver (Cornwall) and White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire.

The best of the rest included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Cattle Egret (Suffolk), two Shorelarks (Cleveland), two Surf Scoters, three American Wigeon and four Glossy Ibises.

Tuesday 15th March 2016  
  Rarity highlights included Gyr (Western Isles), White-billed Divers (Western Isles [3] and Highland), Penduline Tits (Cleveland [2], Norfolk and Essex), Long-billed Dowitchers (Northumberland and Leicestershire), Lesser Scaup (Glamorgan and Cornwall) and Forster's Tern (Co Galway).

The best of the rest included Hoopoe and Richard's Pipit (West Midlands/Staffordshire), Little Bunting (Surrey), Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Cattle Egret (Suffolk), Glossy Ibis (Devon) and American Wigeon (Northumberland).

Monday 14th March 2016  
  The highlight of the day was reappearance of the Gyr on North Uist, Western Isles, whilst on nearby Lewis a White-billed Diver was located. Rarities elsewhere comprised Penduline Tits in Cleveland (2), Essex and Gloucestershire (2), Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire and Northumberland, King Eider and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, and Lesser Scaups in both Cornwall and Glamorgan.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Yellow-browed Warbler (Cornwall), Rough-legged Buzzard (Highland), two each of Richard's Pipit, Surf Scoter, American Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck, Ring-billed Gull, Cattle Egret and Glossy Ibis, six Lapland Buntings and eight Great Grey Shrikes.

Spring migrants included nine Sand Martins, five White Wagtails, two Wheatears and a Garganey.

Sunday 13th March 2016  
  Rarities today comprised the Hudsonian Whimbrel and Lesser Scaup both still in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in Leicestershire, Penudline Tits in Cleveland (2), Essex and Gloucestershire (2), King Eider in County Wexford, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Hoopoe (West Midlands), Yellow-browed Warbler (Cornwall), two each of both Rough-legged Buzzard and Cattle Egret, three of Richard's Pipit, Shorelark, Ring-billed Gull, Surf Scoter and American Wigeon, four Snow Geese (together in Aberdeenshire), five Glossy Ibises, 13 Great Grey Shrikes and 14 Lapland Buntings.

Incoming summer migrants included 11 Wheatears, seven Sand Martins and two White Wagtails.

Saturday 12th March 2016  
  Lingering rarities seen today included the Glaucous-winged Gull in County Cork, Hudsonian Whimbrel, American Herring Gull and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, Penduline Tits in Hampshire and Cleveland (two), single Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire, Northumberland and Hampshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria, King Eider in Fife and Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, two Yellow-browed Warblers, a Hoopoe, a Rose-coloured Starling, three Richard's Pipits and at least five Ring-billed Gulls.

Friday 11th March 2016  
  A female Hooded Merganser was discovered on the Dudley Canal at Halesowen, West Midlands today, whilst a Richardson's Cackling Goose was located at Whitrigg, Cumbria.

Lingering rarities still present today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, two Penduline Tits in both Cleveland and Hampshire, single Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire, Northumberland and Hampshire and a Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan.

  Lingering rarities comprised Hudsonian Whimbrel (Cornwall), Glaucous-winged Gull (Co Cork), Long-billed Dowitchers (Leicestershire and Northumberland), King Eider (Fife) and Penduline Tits (Gloucestershire).

The best of the rest included Hoopoe (West Midlands/Staffordshire), Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Yellow-browed Warbler (Cornwall), Richard's Pipits (East Yorkshire), two Ring-necked Ducks, three Ameican Wigeons and three Glossy Ibises.

  Lingering rarities comprised Long-billed Dowitcher (Northumberland), Lesser Scaup (Glamorgan) and White-billed Diver (Highland). The best of the rest included Yellow-browed Warbler (Cornwall), Shorelark (Northumberland), Ring-necked Duck (Somerset), two American Wigeons and three Glossy Ibises.

Tuesday 8th March 2016  
  Rarities today comprised the Hudsonian Whimbrel still in Cornwall, two Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Leicestershire and Northumberland, White-billed Diver in Highland, and a Northern Long-tailed Tit in Kent.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Dorset), Hoopoe (West Midlands), Ring-necked Duck (Somerset), Suf Scoter and American Wigeon (both North Yorkshire), two each of Rough-legged Buzzard and Cattle Egret, three of both Shorelark and Great Grey Shrike, and five of Ring-billed Gull, Lapland Bunting and Glossy Ibis.
