| A female Hooded Merganser was discovered on the Dudley Canal at
Halesowen, West Midlands today, whilst a Richardson's Cackling Goose was
located at Whitrigg, Cumbria.
Lingering rarities still present today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, two Penduline Tits in both Cleveland and Hampshire, single Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire, Northumberland and Hampshire and a Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan. |
