Saturday 5th September 2015  
  New discoveries today included a Tawny Pipit on Hayling Island, Hampshire, a Blue-winged Teal on Lough Beg, County Derry and a Black Kite over Cardiff, Glamorgan. A probable Subalpine warbler species was present for a second day at Eoropie, Lewis, Western Isles.

Other lingering rarities included the Black Storks in East Yorkshire and East Sussex and three Bee-eaters still in Cumbria,

East coast seawatching provided the bulk of the news today, with totals of two Great Shearwaters, three Cory's Shearwaters, 21 Balearic Shearwaters, c36 Long-tailed Skuas, 30 Pomarine Skuas, three Sabine's Gulls, six Storm Petrels and a high count of 126 Sooty Shearwaters (past Flamborough Head).

Friday 4th September 2015  
  Lingering rarities still present today included the Black Storks at Bexhill, East Sussex and Sunk Island, East Yorkshire, the Citrine Wagtail on Fair Isle, Shetland, the Greenish Warbler on North Ronaldsay, Orkney and the Lesser Scaup and Ferruginous Duck both at Chew Valley Lake in Somerset. One Bee-eater fledged at Lower Gelt, Cumbria where the two adults remained in attendance, with at least one more chick still in the nest.

Scarcity highlights included an Ortolan Bunting, an Icterine Warbler, a White-winged Black Tern, two Hoopoes, three Honey Buzzards, six Red-backed Shrikes, seven Barred Warblers and 11 Wrynecks.

Thursday 3rd September 2015  
  Today's rarities comprised Black Storks in East Sussex and East Yorkshire, Greenish Warbler on Orkney, Ferruginous Duck and Lesser Scaup in Somerset and breeding Bee-eaters in Cumbria.

The best of the rest included Common Rosefinch (Orkney), White-winged Black Tern (Kent), Surf Scoter (Angus), Pectoral Sandpiper (Lancashire), American Wigeon (Northumberland), two Hoopoes, three Barred Warblers, four Cattle Egrets, five Red-backed Shrikes and at least eight Wrynecks.

Wednesday 2nd September 2015  
  New rarities today comprised a Blyth's Reed Warbler in Cornwall at Nanjizal, and a Red-footed Falcon in Somerset at Steart.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were single Black Storks in both East Sussex and East Yorkshire, Citrine Wagtail on the Shetland Isles, Red-footed Falcon in Lincolnshire, Ferruginous Duck in Somerset, and three Bee-eaters together in Cumbria.

Scarcities included 15 Wrynecks, nine Cattle Egrets, eight Long-tailed Skuas, seven Barred Warblers, six Red-backed Shrikes, three each of both White-winged Black Tern and Pectoral Sandpiper, two Hoopoes, American Wigeon (Northumberland), Icterine Warbler and Common Rosefinch (both on the Shetland Isles).

Tuesday 1st September 2015  
  New discoveries included a Subalpine Warbler species at Flamborough Head (East Yorkshire) and Citrine Wagtail on Fair Isle (Shetland). Elsewhere, rarity sightings comprised Black Storks in East Sussex and Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup and Ferruginous Duck in Somerset , Red-footed Falcon in Lincolnshire and Bee-eaters in Cumbria.

The best of the rest included Kentish Plover (Dorset), Common Rosefinch (Shetland), Night Heron (West Yorkshire), Temminck's Stint (Nottinghamshire), two Hoopoes, two White-winged Black Terns, two Pectoral Sandpipers, three Cattle Egrets, four Icterine Warblers, seven Barred Warblers, ten Red-backed Shrikes and 20 Wrynecks.

Monday 31st August 2015  
  Today's highlights included Barolo Shearwaters off Pendeen Watch (Cornwall) and Strumble Head (Pembrokeshire), Bonelli's warbler species at Billinge Hill (Merseyside) and flyby dowitcher species at Fraisthorpe and Pacific Golden Plover at Spurn (East Yorkshire), whilst Pallid Harrier (Shetland) and Bee-eaters (Cumbria) lingered.

The best of the rest included Spotted Crakes (two in Devon), Glossy Ibis (Western Isles), Rose-coloured Starling (Dorset), Dotterel (Conwy), two Pectoral Sandpipers, four White-winged Black Terns, three Barred Warblers, four Icterine Warblers, four Cattle Egrets, ten Red-backed Shrikes and 14 Wrynecks.

Sunday 30th August 2015  
  New discoveries today included two juvenile Pallid Harriers together at Hillwell, Shetland, single Citrine Wagtails on North Ronaldsay, Orkney and at Black Hole Marsh, Devon and a Red-rumped Swallow at Dungeness RSPB, Kent.

Lingering rarities included the Black Storks in East Sussex and East Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcon in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in Somerset (now at Chew Valley Lake) and two Bee-eaters in Cumbria.

Scarcity highlights were singles of Woodchat Shrike, Marsh Warbler, Melodious Warbler, Icterine Warbler, Ortolan Bunting, Rose-coloured Starling, Dotterel, Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Red-necked Phalarope, two each of Bluethroat, Barred Warbler and Hoopoe, three White-winged Black Terns, at least six Honey Buzzards, seven Red-backed Shrikes and 21 Wrynecks. A flock of 23 Cattle Egrets in the Avon Valley in Dorset and Hampshire is almost certainly a British record.

Saturday 29th August 2015  
  New discoveries today included a Citrine Wagtail at Tacumshin, County Wexford and Bee-eaters at Harman's Cross (two) and Hengistbury Head, both Dorset and Collieston and Loch of Strathbeg RSPB, both Aberdeenshire. The Paddyfield Warbler found at Collieston, Aberdeenshire yesterday was still present.

Other lingering rarities included the Black Storks in East Yorkshire and East Sussex, Red-footed Falcons in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, two Bee-eaters in Cumbria, Ferruginous Duck in Somerset and two Wilson's Petrels again from a pelagic off County Cork.

Scarcity highlights were singles of Woodchat Shrike, Melodious Warbler, Barred Warbler, Dotterel and White-winged Black Tern, two each of Bluethroat, Hoopoe, Icterine Warbler and Pectoral Sandpiper, eight Red-backed Shrikes, 10 Honey Buzzards and 17 Wrynecks.

Friday 28th August 2015  
  In Cornwall a Red-billed Tropicbird was seen heading west past Gwennap Head, Porthgwarra this morning.

Other new discoveries today included a Lesser Grey Shrike at Cromer, Norfolk, an Arctic Warbler at Scousburgh, Shetland, a Greenish Warbler on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Bee-eater over Conwy, a Black Stork over Landguard, Suffolk then at Clacton-on-Sea, Essex and a Ferruginous Duck at Chew Valley Lake, Somerset.

Lingering rarities included the Black Stork in East Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcon in Lincolnshire and two Bee-eaters in Cumbria.

Scarcity highlights were a Marsh Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Barred Warblers, three Icterine Warblers, five Red-backed Shrikes, 13 Wrynecks, five Dotterels, a Purple Heron, a Night Heron and a Spotted Crake. Seawatching also produced two Sabine's Gulls, 120 Cory's Shearwaters and 33 Great Shearwaters.

Thursday 27th August 2015  
  Today's raritiy sightings included Pallid Harrier on Shetland, Bee-eaters in Shetland (7), Cumbria (2+) and Aberdeenshire, Western Bonelli's Warbler, Wilson's Petrel and a dowitcher species on Isles of Scilly, Bonelli's warbler species in Devon, Spotted Sandpiper in Wiltshire, Red-footed Falcons in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and Black Stork in East Yorkshire. A Rose-coloured Starling (Western Isles), Hoopoe (Highland), Temminck's Stint (Kent), Ortolan Bunting (East Yorkshire), two White-winged Black Terns, two Barred Warblers, six Red-backed Shrikes, 12 Wrynecks and a flock of 26 Dotterel were also recorded today.
