Thursday 9th July 2015  
  The new rarities today were all brief encounters: a Collared Praticole in Norfolk at Welney, Red-footed Falcon in Staffordshire at Stoke-on-Trent, and Bee-eaters in Cheshire (2), Dorset and East Sussex.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Red-rumped Swallow on the Shetland Isles, White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, and the flock of 10 Bee-eaters in Suffolk.

Scarcities included Melodious Warbler (West Midlands), Night Heron (Somerset), Surf Scoter (Angus), American Wigeon (East Yorkshire), Red-backed Shrike (Devon), Hoopoe (Dorset), Pectoral Sandpiper (Northumberland) and Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall).

Wednesday 8th July 2015  
  The highlight of the day was the continued presence ofa flock of 10 Bee-eaters in Suffolk, whilst other continuing rarities comprised the Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and the White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, with an Alpine Swift flying over the latter.

Scarcities included Melodious Warbler (West Midlands), Rose-coloured Starling (Western Isles), American Wigeon (South Yorkshire), and Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall).

Notable seabirds comprised single Cory's Shearwaters passing both Cornwall and County Donegal, Great Shearwaters passing Cornwall and Pembrokeshire, and a Long-tailed Skua briefly in East Yorkshire.

Tuesday 7th July 2015  
  The higlight of the day was the relocation of the flock of 10 Bee-eaters in Suffolk at Theberton, with another three Bee-eaters briefly near Brixham, Devon.

Otherwise, lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Hudsonian Whimbrel in East Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire.

Scarcities included Common Rosefinch (Dorset), White-winged Black Tern (Lincolnshire), Melodious Warbler (West Midlands), Temminck's Stint (Perth and Kinross), American Wigeon (South Yorkshire) and Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall).

Monday 6th July 2015  
  Rarity sightings included the Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, whilst a Bee-eater was heard over Christchurch Harbour (Dorset).

The best of the rest included White-winged Black Tern (Lincolnshire), American Wigeon (South Yorkshire), Melodious Warbler (West Midlands) and two Great Shearwaters (Co Cork).

Sunday 5th July 2015  
  Bee-eaters in Suffolk (10) and Hampshire (2) were today's headline new discoveries. The Little Bittern (South Yorkshire), White-rumped Sandpiper (East Yorkshire), Greater Yellowlegs (Hampshire) and Hudsonian Whimbrel (West Sussex) all lingered.

The best of the rest included White-winged Black Terns in Lancashire and Lincolnshire, Night Heron in Somerset, Montagu's Harrier in Hertfordshire, Melodious Warbler in West Midlands, American Wigeon in South Yorkshire and Hoopoe in Suffolk.

Saturday 4th July 2015  
  The highlight of the day was a Terek Sandpiper in Northumberland, present briefly at Low Newton-by-the-Sea. Elsewhere, a White-rumped Sandpiper arrived in East Yorkshire at Kilnsea, and a Red-footed Falcon flew over Colaton Raleigh, Devon.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Franklin's Gull in County Londonderry, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Scarcities included White-winged Black Tern (Lancashire), Melodious Warbler (West Midlands), American Wigeon (South Yorkshire), Night Heron and Purple Heron (together in Somerset), and Red-backed Shrike (Orkney Isles).

Friday 3rd July 2015  
  An adult Squacco Heron was found at Southease, East Sussex, mid afternoon, where it showed well along the River Ouse until mid evening. Meanwhile, a Gull-billed Tern spent the same period at Burton Mere Wetlands RSPB, Cheshire.

Lingering rarities included the Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in Yorkshire, Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Scarcity highlights were a Melodious Warbler, a Marsh Warbler, a White-winged Black Tern, an American Golden Plover, a Purple Heron and a Ring-billed Gull.

Thursday 2nd July 2015  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Isabelline Shrike on St Martin's, Isles of Scilly. Elsewhere, a Gull-billed Tern was new in Ceredigion at Ynys-hir, as was a Red-rumped Swallow in Lerwick, Shetland Isles, whilst a Caspian Tern in Norfolk and a Bee-eater in County Durham were both brief encounters.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, and Western Subalpine Warbler on the Shetland Isles.

Scarcities included the territorial Melodious Warbler still in the West Midlands, Temminck's Stint (Northumberland), Rose-coloured Starling (Shetland Isles) and Cory's Shearwater (two off the Isles of Scilly).

Wednesday 1st July 2015  
  A Gull-billed Tern graced the Hayle Estuary in Cornwall this afternoon, until 4.30pm when it flew south. An Alpine Swift was over Beachy Head, West Sussex, briefly before flying off (where a Bee-eater did the same yesterday), and four Bee-eaters were today in Argyll on Islay.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel in West Sussex, Greater Yellowlegs in Hampshire, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.

Scarcity highlights included a Melodious Warbler, an Icterine Warbler, a Golden Oriole, a Glaucous Gull, three Honey Buzzards and four Roseate Terns.

Tuesday 30th June 2015  
  New discoveries comprised Squacco Heron on Anglesey, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, two Black-winged Stilts in Essex and a Western Subalpine Warbler on Shetland. The Pacific Golden Plover (Norfolk), Hudsonian Whimbrel (West Sussex) and Greater Yellowlegs (Hampshire) all lingered.

The best of the rest included Melodious Warbler in West Midlands, Icterine Warblers in Highland and Kent, Marsh Warblers on Orkney and Shetland, Temminck's Stint on the Northumberland/ Co Durham border, Night Heron in Somerset and Ring-billed Gull in Cornwall.
