Aberdeenshire and Highland, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Black
Duck in the Isles of Scilly, Laughing Gulls in Wirral and County
Cork, Bonaparte's Gull in County Waterford, three White-billed Divers
in Aberdeenshire, two Penduline Tits in Devon, King Eider in Fife,
Lesser Scaups in Glamorgan and County Sligo and Ross's Goose in
Forth.
Scarcity highlights were a Richard's Pipit, a Little Bunting, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Kumlien's Gull, two White-tailed Eagles, two American Wigeons, two Surf Scoters, three Ring-necked Ducks, four Waxwings, four Ring-billed Gulls and eight Great Grey Shrikes. |

| Rarities today comprised the Harlequin Duck and three White-billed Divers in Aberdenshire,
Harlequin Duck still in Highland, Laughing Gull on the Wirral, Bonaparte's
Gulls in Dorset and County Waterford, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Dublin,
King Eider in Fife, Lesser Scaups in both County Cavan and Glamorgan, and the
Black-bellied Dipper still in East Yorkshire. Scarcities included Glossy Ibis (Nottinghamshire), Rough-legged Buzzard (East Sussex), two each of Richard's Pipit, Yellow-browed Warbler, Surf Scoter and Cattle Egret, three American Wigeons, four of Ring-necked Duck and Waxwing, six Lapland Buntings, nine Shorelarks and 13 Great Grey Shrikes. Notable gull tallies compried 32 Iceland, seven Glaucous, six Caspian, five Ring-billed and a Kumlien's. |

| Today's rarities comprised Harlequin Duck in Highland, American
Herring Gull in Cornwall, Laughing Gull in
Wirral, Bonaparte's Gull in Co Waterford, Penduline Tits in Devon,
Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and Ayrshire and King Eider in Fife. Late news related to an
American Herring Gull in Co Cork yesterday and White-billed Divers off
South Uist on Friday and North Uist on Saturday.
The best of the rest included White-tailed Eagle in Norfolk, Serin in Essex, Little Bunting in Cornwall, Richard's Pipits in Norfolk and East Sussex, Cattle Egrets in Kent, Glossy Ibis in Nottinghamshire (with a report of another in Hertfordshire), Yellow-browed Warblers in Devon and Worcestershire and American Wigeons in Nottinghamshire, Co Leitrim/Co Donegal and West Yorkshire. |

Penduline Tits together in Devon, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and Ross's Goose in Forth. Scarcities included Yellow-browed Warbler (Worcestershire), Glossy Ibis (Nottinghamshire), two each of Little Bunting, Richard's Pipit, American Wigeon, Surf Scoter, Ring-billed Gull and Cattle Egret, three Rough-legged Buzzards, four Great Grey Shrikes, six Lapland Buntings and 12 Waxwings. Arrivals of summer migrats continued, with day totals of 114 Sand Martins, 60 Wheatears, nine Garganey, nine Sandwich Terns, eight White Wagtails, six Swallows, three Little Ringed Plovers, two each of both Turtle Dove and Osprey, and a single Ring Ouzel. |
