Black Redstart at Shark's Pit, Isles of Scilly.
Scarcity highlights included a Wryneck, a Barred Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Grey Phalarope, a Green-winged Teal, two Richard's Pipits, three American Wigeons, three Ring-billed Gulls, five Shorelarks, six Surf Scoters, eight Great Grey Shrikes and eight Rough-legged Buzzards. |

| Significant late news concerned a Brunnich's Guillemot which was seen
from the Uig (Highland) to Lochmaddy (Western Isles) ferry last Sunday.
Lingering rarities seen today included the Blyth's Pipit in West Yorkshire, Ivory Gull and Richardson's Cackling Goose in the Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Dublin, King Eider in Shetland, single Lesser Scaups in Ayrshire and Lothian and Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly. |

| Rarities today comprised the Blyth's Pipit still in West Yorkshire, Eastern Black Redstart
on the Isles of Scilly, single Lesser Scaups in each of Argyll, Lothian and Powys, and a
Richardson's Cackling Goose new on Baleshare, Western Isles. Scarcities included Barred Warbler (Dorset), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon), Surf Scoter (Suffolk), Little Auk (County Down), two each of Richard's Pipit, Cattle Egret and Black Brant, three of Lapland Bunting and Black Brant, four each of Ring-necked Duck, Great Grey Shrike and Shorelark, five Iceland Gulls, seven Caspian Gulls, eight Rough-legged Buzzards, 10 Great White Egrets and a total of 21 Tundra Bean Geese. |

| Lingering rarities comprised Blyth's Pipit (West Yorkshire), Ivory
Gull (Western Isles), Pacific Diver (Cornwall), Lesser Yellowlegs
(Co Dublin), Eastern Black Redstart (Isles of Scilly) and Lesser
Scaup (Ayrshire), whilst another Lesser Scaup was present in Lothian
for its second day.
The best of the rest included Barred Warbler (Dorset), two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Richard's Pipits, three American Wigeons, three Cattle Egrets, four Ring-necked Ducks and 11 Surf Scoters. |

| Lingering rarities included the Blyth's Pipit (West Yorkshire),
Ivory Gull (Western Isles), Penduline Tits (Devon), Forster's Tern
(Co Galway) and Eastern Black Redstart (Isles of Scilly), whilst a
Lesser Scaup was discovered in Ayrshire.
The best of the rest included Glossy Ibis (Co Waterford), Ring-necked Duck (Co Mayo), Surf Scoter (Suffolk/Essex), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon), two American Wigeons (Cornwall), two Richard's Pipits (Dorset and East Sussex) and Barred Warbler (Dorset). |

| Lingering rarities still present today included the Blyth's Pipit in
West Yorkshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Bonaparte's Gull
in Devon, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and Eastern Black Redstart
on the Isles of Scilly.
Scarcity highlights included the Barred Warbler in Dorset, Richard's Pipits in Dorset, Sussex and Norfolk, Grey Phalarope in Hampshire, Surf Scoter on the Essex /Suffolk border, Lesser Snow Goose in Norfolk and Lesser Canada Goose in County Wexford. |

| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Naumann's Thrush in County Cork at Castletownroche; present briefly around midday before being lost. Elsewhere, an
Ivory Gull was found on the Western Isles on Benbecula, whilst a Ferruginous Duck arrived at Carr Vale, Derbyshire. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Blyth's Pipit in West Yorkshire, two Penduline Tits in Devon, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan, and the Eastern Black Redstart on the Isles of Scilly. Scarcities included Barred Warbler (Dorset), Richard's Pipit (Dorset and Somerset), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), and American Wigeon (Aberdeenshire and Cornwall (2)). |

| The Blyth's Pipit remained in Wakefield, Yorkshire, the American
Coot was seen again at Balranald RSPB, Western Isles and the Eastern
Black Redstart was still on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly.
Scarcity highlights included a Barred Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Great Grey Shrike, a Lesser Snow Goose, a Surf Scoter, two American Wigeons, four Shorelarks and six Rough-legged Buzzards. |

| The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Blyth's Pipit in West Yorkshire at Pugneys Country Park. Lingering rarities elsewhere comprised the
Eastern Black Redstart still on the Isles of Scilly, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and three
Penduline Tits together in Devon. Scarities included Barred Warbler and Richard's Pipit (both Dorset), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Cattle Egret (Cheshire), Green-winged Teal (Dumfries and Galloway), Ring-billed Gull (County Dublin), two each of both Yellow-browed Warbler and Black Brant, three each of Rough-legged Buzzard, Great Grey Shrike, Lapland Bunting and Pomarine Skua, seven Great White Egrets, eight Little Auks, 12 Shorelarks, 16 Caspian Gulls and 25 Tundra Bean Geese. |
