Thursday 11th December 2014  
  The Blyth's Pipit remained at Pugneys Country Park, Yorkshire, as did the Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly.

Scarcity highlights included a Barred Warbler, a Green-winged Teal, a Ring-necked Duck, a Lesser Snow Goose, a Black Brant, a Long-tailed Skua, a Ring-billed Gull, an Iceland Gull, two Great Grey Shrikes, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Glaucous Gulls, three Cattle Egrets, three Little Auks, four Shorelarks, four Rough-legged Buzzards, four Pomarine Skuas, seven Great White Egrets, eight Caspian Gulls and 23 Tundra Bean Geese.

Wednesday 10th December 2014  
  The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Blyth's Pipit in West Yorkshire at Pugneys Country Park. Lingering rarities elsewhere comprised the Eastern Black Redstart still on the Isles of Scilly, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and three Penduline Tits together in Devon.

Scarities included Barred Warbler and Richard's Pipit (both Dorset), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Cattle Egret (Cheshire), Green-winged Teal (Dumfries and Galloway), Ring-billed Gull (County Dublin), two each of both Yellow-browed Warbler and Black Brant, three each of Rough-legged Buzzard, Great Grey Shrike, Lapland Bunting and Pomarine Skua, seven Great White Egrets, eight Little Auks, 12 Shorelarks, 16 Caspian Gulls and 25 Tundra Bean Geese.

Tuesday 9th December 2014  
  The Blyth's Pipit lingered in West Yorkshire, but was only seen in flight, whilst Dusky Warbler and Desert Wheatear (Cornwall), Penduline Tits (Devon), Eastern Black Redstart (Isles of Scilly) and Ross's Goose (Lothian) all lingered.

The best of the rest comprised Barred Warbler (Dorset), Richard's Pipit (Somerset), two American Wigeons (Cornwall), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), three Cattle Egrets and four Shorelarks.

Monday 8th December 2014  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Blyth's Pipit at Pugneys Country Park (West Yorkshire). In Dorset a Lesser Yellowlegs was at Brownsea Island NT whilst the Penduline Tits (Devon), Eastern Black Redstart (Isles of Scilly), Ferruginous Duck (Hampshire) and Dusky Warbler (Cornwall) all lingered and the male Desert Wheatear was reportedly still present at Winterton (Norfolk).

The best of the rest included Barred Warbler (Dorset), Glossy Ibis (Kent), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), Cattle Egret (Cheshire), two American Wigeons (Cornwall), four Ring-necked Ducks and five Richard's Pipits.

Sunday 7th December 2014  
  In Devon, three Penduline Tits were discovered at Bowling Green Marsh RSPB mid morning, but they proved elusive, being seen just once more early afternoon. In neighbouring Cornwall, another female Desert Wheatear arrived, this time on The Lizard, with the long staying bird still present at Porthgwarra. A Ross's Goose was also found, at Dunbar, Lothian.

Other lingering rarities included both the American Coots (Western Isles and County Kerry), Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Powys and Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly.

Saturday 6th December 2014  
  The second Penduline Tit for Wiltshire was discovered today, at Pit 68a of the Cotswold Water Park. The first record, in 2008, was just a few yards away at Pit 68c.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Pacific Diver, Desert Wheatear and Dusky Warbler all in Cornwall, another Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Laughing Gull in County Cork, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Lesser Scaup in County Kerry, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly.

Friday 5th December 2014  
  A male Desert Wheatear was discovered at Winterton, Norfolk today, with another still at Porthgwarra, Cornwall.

Other lingering rarities included the Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly.

Scarcity highlights included a Rose-coloured Starling, a Grey Phalarope, a Lesser Snow Goose, a Glaucous Gull, two Iceland Gulls, two Ring-necked Ducks, three Richard's Pipits, four Great Grey Shrikes, four Shorelarks, four Lapland Buntings, five Yellow-browed Warblers, seven Rough-legged Buzzards and 10 Little Auks.

Thursday 4th December 2014  
  The seventh Penduline Tit for Cambridgeshire was discovered today, at Ouse Fen RSPB, near Earith.

Lingering rarities included the American Coot on the Western Isles, Pacific Diver, Desert Wheatear and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, King Eider in Fife, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and Eastern Black Redstart on the Isles of Scilly.

Wednesday 3rd December 2014  
  Rarities today comprised the Pacific Diver, Desert Wheatear and Dusky Warbler all still in Cornwall, American Coot on the Western Isles, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, and single Eastern Black Redstarts in both North Yorkshire and the Isles of Scilly.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), Hoopoe (Dorset), Yellow-browed Warbler and American Wigeon (Devon), Shorelark (Lancashire), Surf Scoter (Essex), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), Glossy Ibis (Lincolnshire), two each of both Ring-billed Gull and Ring-necked Duck, three each of Cattle Egret, Glaucous Gull, Green-winged Teal and Black Brant, five Richard's Pipits, seven each of Rough-legged Buzzard and Lapland Bunting, eight Caspian Gulls, nine Tundra Bean Geese, 10 Great Grey Shrikes and 12 Great White Egets.

Seawatching produced 32 Pomarine Skuas and 21 Little Auks.

  Lingering rarities comprised Olive-backed Pipit (Fair Isle), Dusky Warbler, Desert Wheatear Pacific Diver and Lesser Yellowlegs (Cornwall), Eastern Black Redstarts (Isles of Scilly and North Yorkshire) and Ferruginous Duck (Hampshire).

The best of the rest included Rose-coloured Starling (Somerset), Yellow-browed Warbler (Conwy), Lesser Snow Goose (Norfolk), Barred Warbler (Dorset), three Cattle Egrets, four Ring-necked Ducks and five Richard's Pipits.
