| In Devon, three Penduline Tits were discovered at Bowling Green Marsh
RSPB mid morning, but they proved elusive, being seen just once more early
afternoon. In neighbouring Cornwall, another female Desert Wheatear
arrived, this time on The Lizard, with the long staying bird still present at
Porthgwarra. A Ross's Goose was also found, at Dunbar, Lothian.
Other lingering rarities included both the American Coots (Western Isles and County Kerry), Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Powys and Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly. |
