Wednesday 19th November 2014  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a White's Thrush in Lerwick, Shetland Isles, with nearby an Olive-backed Pipit new on Fair Isle. Elsewhere, a Red-flanked Bluetail was discovered on Westray, Orkney Isles, and Dusky Warblers at both Portland, Dorset, and St Mary's, Isles of Scilly.

Lingering rarities comprised the Grey-cheeked Thrush still on the Shetland Isles, American Coot on the Western Isles, Desert Wheatear in Angus, two Penduline Tits together in Norfolk, Dusky Warblers in Cornwall and Suffolk (2), and Ferruginous Ducks in both Bedfordshire and Hampshire.

Scarcities included Purple Heron (Angus), Snow Goose (Moray), Serin (Kent), Ring-billed Gull (Highland), Ring-necked Duck (County Leitrim), Lapland Bunting (Norfolk), Glossy Ibis (Lincolnshire), two each of Richard's Pipit and American Wigeon, three each of Surf Scoter, Shorelark and Yellow-browed Warbler, four Cattle Egrets, five Great Grey Shrikes and seven Rough-legged Buzzards.

Seawatch totals included 84 Little Auks and 18 Pomarine Skuas.

Tuesday 18th November 2014  
  Highlight of the day was the discovery of a Little Bustard at West Bexington (Dorset), but there was no further sign after the early morning sighting.

In Pembrokeshire a probable Blyth's Pipit was at St David's Head and two Penduline Tits were reported in Norfolk, whilst Grey-cheeked Thrush (Shetland), American Coot (Western Isles and Co Kerry), Desert Wheatear (Angus), Franklin's Gull (Hampshire), Siberian Stonechat (Co Durham), Ferruginous Duck (Bedfordshire) and Dusky Warblers (Suffolk [2] and Cornwall) all lingered.

The best of the rest included Serin (Cornwall), Glossy Ibis (Lincolnshire), two Hoopoes, two Purple Herons, three Cattle Egrets, three Richard's Pipits, at least seven Yellow-browed Warblers and at least nine Rough-legged Buzzards.

Monday 17th November 2014  
  On Shetland an Olive-backed Pipit was discovered at Toab, whilst American Coots in Western Isles and Co Kerry, Dusky Warblers in Suffolk (2) and Cornwall, Black Stork in Suffolk, Desert Wheatear in Angus, Siberian Stonechat in Co Durham, Lesser Scaup in Co Kerry, Grey-cheeked Thrush and Red-flanked Bluetail in Shetland and Franklin's Gull in Hampshire all lingered.

The best of the rest included American Wigeon (Cornwall), two Richard's Pipits and two Hoopoes as well as an excellent movement of Pomarine Skuas and Little Auks past Northeast England.

Sunday 16th November 2014  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of an American Coot on North Uist, Western Isles. This is the eighth record for Britain, three of which have occurred in this county. A Roller near Dunmanway, County Cork is just the third November record ever. The other new discoveries today were more expected late autumn rarities, with a Desert Wheatear at Montrose, Angus, a Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler at Loch of Strathbeg RSPB, Aberdeenshire and single Dusky Warblers at Landguard, Suffolk and Kelynack, Cornwall.

Also in Suffolk, the identity of the Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler at Bawdsey was confirmed, with the Black Stork and another Dusky Warbler also lingering in the county. Other lingering rarities included the Isabelline Shrikes in Cornwall and Dorset, Siberian Stonechat in County Durham, Franklin's Gull and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Dusky Warbler in Dorset, Red-breasted Goose in Orkney, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Dublin

Saturday 15th November 2014  
  New discoveries included an Isabelline Shrike in Dorset, Black Stork in Suffolk and Essex, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler in Devon and Dusky Warbler in Suffolk, whilst the Franklin's Gull (Hampshire), Lesser Scaup (Co Kerry and Glamorgan), Dusky Warbler (Dorset), Lesser Yellowlegs and Isabelline Shrike (Cornwall), Siberian Stonechat (Co Durham), Red-breasted Goose (Orkney) and American Coot (Co Kerry) all lingered.

The best of the rest included American Wigeon and Red-backed Shrike (Cornwall), Pallas's Warbler (Northumberland), Glossy Ibis (Essex), two Richard's Pipits, two Serins, two Hoopoes, two Ring-necked Ducks, four Cattle Egrets, nine Rough-legged Buzzards and 12 Surf Scoters.

Friday 14th November 2014  
  The Franklin's Gull and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Siberian Stonechat on Isle of Wight, Lesser Yellowlegs and Isabelline Shrike in Cornwall, Dusky Warbler in Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Bedfordshire, American Coot and Lesser Scaup in Co Kerry, Lesser Scaup in Powys and Desert Wheatear in Norfolk all lingered.

The best of the rest included Richard's Pipit (Cambridgeshire), Red-backed Shrike (Cornwall), Lesser Snow Goose (Lancashire), two Ring-necked Ducks, three Yellow-browed Warblers and at least four Rough-legged Buzzards.

Thursday 13th November 2014  
  Lingering rarities comprised Isabelline Shrike and Lesser Yellowlegs (Cornwall), Blue-winged Teal or hybrid (Northumberland), Grey-cheeked Thrush (Shetland), Franklin's Gull (Hampshire), Siberian Stonechat (Co Durham), American Coot and Lesser Scaup (Co Kerry), Desert Wheatear (Norfolk) and Dusky Warbler (Dorset), whilst a Black Kite was seen in Lincolnshire.

The best of the rest included Red-breasted Flycatcher (Pembrokeshire), Red-backed Shrike (Cornwall), two Cattle Egrets, six Yellow-browed Warblers and at least 17 Rough-legged Buzzards.

Wednesday 12th November 2014  
  The highlight of the day was a Siberian Stonechat discovered at Cleadon, County Durham, whilst in Dorset at Dusky Warbler arrived at Portland.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were both the American Coot and Lesser Scaup together in County Kerry, Isabelline Shrike and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Siberian Stonechat on the Isle of Wight, Red-breasted Goose on the Orkney Isles, and Ferruginous Duck in Bedfordshire.

Scarcities included Common Rosefinch (Argyll), Rose-coloured Starling and Red-backed Shrike (both Cornwall), Wryneck (Pembrokeshire), Ring-necked Duck (Northamptonshire), two each of Richard's Pipit, Shorelark, Lapland Bunting, Cattle Egret, Ring-billed Gull and Grey Phalarope, three each of both Surf Scoter and Yellow-browed Warbler, four Great Grey Shrikes and nine Rough-legged Buzzards, whilst seabirds on the move included 98 Little Auks, nine Pomarine Skuas and a Sabine's Gull.

Tuesday 11th November 2014  
  A Subalpine Warbler in Co Wexford and Ferruginous Duck in Bedfordshire were today's headline discoveries.

Lingering rarities included Grey-cheeked Thrush (Shetland), Isabelline Shrike and Lesser Yellowlegs (Cornwall), Red-breasted Goose (Orkney), American Coot and Lesser Scaup (Co Kerry) and Desert Wheatear (Norfolk), whilst Short-toed Lark (Orkney), Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), two Richard's Pipits, two Surf Scoters, two Red-backed Shrikes, two Ring-necked Ducks, three Yellow-browed Warblers, four Cattle Egrets, five Green-winged Teals and 13 Rough-legged Buzzards were also logged.

Monday 10th November 2014  
  A Red-breasted Goose arrived on Orkney, whilst White-billed Diver in Shetland and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire were both presumably returning birds.

Lingering rarities included Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Grey-cheeked Thrush and Red-flanked Bluetail in Shetland, Franklin's Gull in Hampshire and American Coot in Co Kerry.

The best of the rest included Yellow-browed Warbler (Suffolk), Ring-necked Duck (Northamptonshire), at least two Richard's Pipits, two American Wigeons, two Surf Scoters and at up to 15 Rough-legged Buzzards.
