| On Shetland an Olive-backed Pipit was discovered at Toab, whilst
American Coots in Western Isles and Co Kerry,
Dusky Warblers in Suffolk (2) and Cornwall, Black Stork in Suffolk,
Desert Wheatear in Angus, Siberian Stonechat in Co Durham,
Lesser Scaup in Co Kerry, Grey-cheeked Thrush and Red-flanked
Bluetail in Shetland and Franklin's Gull in Hampshire all lingered.
The best of the rest included American Wigeon (Cornwall), two Richard's Pipits and two Hoopoes as well as an excellent movement of Pomarine Skuas and Little Auks past Northeast England. |
