| New discoveries included a Caspian Tern at Exmouth (Devon) and a
Rustic Bunting on Unst (Shetland). The Stilt Sandpiper in
Northumberland, Black-winged Pratincole in Cambridgeshire,
White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, Black-winged Stilts in West
Sussex, Pacific Golden Plover on Orkney and Bee-eaters on Isle of
Wight all lingered.
The best of the rest included at least 46 Great Shearwaters, at least 11 Cory's Shearwaters, five Glossy Ibises, at least three Long-tailed Skuas, three Cattle Egrets, two Pectoral Sandpipers, Night Heron (Warwickshire), Purple Heron (Norfolk), Barred Warbler (Shetland) and Spotted Crake (London). |
