| In Cheshire the Caspian Tern reappeared at Acre Nook Quarry this
evening, having been absent throughout the day. In Lincolnshire the wader
reported yesterday as a White-rumped Sandpiper was still present today, but was
reidentified as a Baird's Sandpiper. Elsewhere a Two-barred Crossbill
was at Holkham NNR (Norfolk) for its fourth day, whilst a couple of
Two-barred Crossbills also lingered at Lynford Arboretum (Norfolk). A
Black Kite was reported over Oxleas Wood (London), the Lesser Yellowlegs
was still in Carmarthenshire and at least one Little Bittern was seen
at the Somerset breeding site.
Pectoral Sandpipers were logged in Cleveland, Hampshire and Co Antrim. |
