| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Western Sandpiper,
Coues's Arctic Redpoll and Ross's Goose in Norfolk, Bufflehead in Cornwall,
Desert Wheatear in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Spotted Sandpiper in Devon,
Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Blue-winged Teal and Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly,
Blue-winged Teal in Dorset, Lesser Scaups in both Gloucestershire and Somerset, and
Glossy Ibis in Lancashire. Scarcities included Bluethroat (County Waterford), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon), Great Shearwater (County Cork), Surf Scoter (Cornwall and Devon), American Wigeon (Devon, Dumfries and Galloway and Herefordshire), Ring-necked Duck (Cleveland, Dorset (2) and Norfolk), and Snow Goose (Argyll). A total of 62 Tundra Bean Geese were recorded across nine counties between Western Isles, Shropshire and Norfolk. |

| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Western Sandpiper in Norfolk,
Bufflehead in Cornwall, Desert Wheatears in both East Yorkshire and Northumberland,
Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler and Blue-winged Teal in Dorset, Blue-winged Teal and
Dusky Warbler on the Isles of Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, both Lesser Scaup and Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset, and two
Glossy Ibises in Kent. Pallas's Warbler (Cornwall), Bluethroat (County Waterford), Yellow-browed Warbler (Isles of Scilly), Cattle Egret (Hampshire), Surf Scoter (Devon), American Wigeon (Herefordshire), Ring-necked Duck (Cornwall, Dorset (2) and Norfolk). |

Spotted Sandpipers in both Devon and Somerset, and Glossy Ibises in Essex, Kent (2) and Lancashire. In County Antrim a Bonaparte's Gull
was located at Ballygally. Scarcities included Bluethroat (County Waterford), Pectoral Sandpiper (Ayrshire), Temminck's Stint (Leicestershire), Surf Scoter (Cornwall and Devon), American Wigeon (Dumfries and Galloway and Herefordshire), Snow Goose (County Donegal) and Ring-necked Duck (Cornwall, Dorset, Norfolk and County Westmeath (3). |

on the Isles of Scilly, Bufflehead in Cornwall, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler and
Spotted Sandpiper in Dorset, Desert Wheatear and Lesser Scaup in Northumberland, King Eider in Moray,
Blue-winged Teal in County Dublin, Lesser Scaup in Gloucestershire,
Spotted Sandpipers in both Devon and Somerset, and Glossy Ibises in Essex, Kent (2) and Lancashire. Scarcities included Bluethroat (County Waterford), Pectoral Sandpiper (Ayrshire), Temminck's Stint (Leicestershire), Surf Scoter (Cornwall, Devon and County Galway), American Wigeon (Dumfries and Galloway and Herefordshire), Ring-necked Duck (Cornwall and Norfolk) and Snow Goose (County Donegal). 108 Tundra Bean Geese were logged across six counties. |

Scarcities included Richard's Pipit (Lincolnshire), Yellow-browed Warbler (Isle of Scilly), Surf Scoter (Devon), American Wigeon (Devon and West Yorkshire), Ring-necked Duck (Cornwall and Norfolk) and Snow Goose (Perth and Kinross). A total of 93 Tundra Bean Geese were logged across six counties between Clyde, Lancashire and Suffolk. |

| Rarities seen today included the Western Sandpiper and Coues's
Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, along with at least one Ross's Goose and a
Ferruginous Duck, Greater Yellowlegs in Highland, Least
Sandpiper in County Kerry, American Buff-bellied Pipit in County
Waterford, Desert Wheatear in Northumberland, single Glossy Ibises
in Kent and Lancashire, Red-breasted Goose in Devon, single King
Eiders in County Kerry and Moray, single Lesser Scaups in
Gloucestershire and Somerset and Spotted Sandpiper in Devon.
Significant late news concerned a male Lesser Kestrel in Cornwall on 1st November, which would be the second record for the county after a one day bird in May 1968. |

| Rarities noted today comprised Western Sandpiper, Coues's Arctic
Redpoll, Ferruginous Duck and two Ross's Geese all still in Norfolk,
Wilson's Snipe and Blue-winged Teal on the Isles of Scilly, Bufflehead
in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier in County Galway, Desert Wheatear and
Lesser Scaup in Northumberland, Red-breasted Goose and Spotted
Sandpiper in Devon, King Eider in County Kerry, Blue-winged Teal in County Dublin, two
Small Canada Geese in Argyll, Lesser Scaups in both Gloucestershire and Somerset, and
Glossy Ibises in Essex, Kent (2) and Lancashire. Scarcities included Bluethroat (County Waterford), Richard's Pipit (Dorset), Yellow-browed Warbler (Devon), Surf Scoter (Cornwall and Devon), American Wigeon (Devon and West Yorkshire) and Pectoral Sandpiper (Ayrshire). A total of 125 Tundra Bean Geese were recorded across twelve counties between Aberdeenshire to County Armagh and Lincolnshire. |

| In Ireland, a second-winter American Herring Gull was found at
Youghal dump, County Cork whilst, nearby, a first-winter female King Eider
was in County Kerry, at Reen Pier, Ballinskelligs. A Glossy Ibis was a
new arrival to Grove Ferry NNR, Kent.
Long staying rarities seen today included the Western Sandpiper and Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Greater Yellowlegs in Highland, American Buff-bellied Pipit in County Waterford, Least Sandpiper in County Cork, Bufflehead in Cornwall, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler in Dorset, Desert Wheatear in Northumberland, single Blue-winged Teals in County Dublin and the Isles of Scilly, Spotted Sandpiper in Devon, Glossy Ibis in Lancashire, Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk and single Lesser Scaups in Gloucestershire, Somerset and Northumberland. |
