Popular rarities included the American Buff-bellied Pipit in Cornwall, White-rumped and Spotted Sandpipers in Glamorgan, Glossy Ibises in Somerset and Merseyside and Lesser Scaups in Wiltshire and Berkshire. An excellent Pomarine Skua and Little Auk passage was enjoyed by many on the east coast, and other odds and sods where three Richard's Pipits in Salthouse, Norfolk, Little Bunting in Kilnsea, East Yorkshire and a Red-breasted Flycatcher on Lewis, Western Isles. |
