Handbook of Western Palearctic Birds needs your help - An update

The first volume (passerines) of the long-awaited book by Hadoram Shirihai & Lars Svensson, the HANDBOOK OF WESTERN PALEARCTIC BIRDS, is now being readied for publication. It will be the definitive work on the identification, plumage variation, racial identification and taxonomy of the birds of the region.

Following a previous request for help with locating photos for the book the production team received photos for many of the missing species, plumages etc.  They still need you help however and this is a great opportunity to be part of a amazing project.

If you think you can help you can send your photos using the email link below and there are guidelines for submission below also.

Thanks and good birding
The Rare Bird Alert team.
