How does the cashback offer work?

Subscribe as a new customer to one of our new X3 pager services.

As soon as you have paid for your first 12 months birdnews charges you qualify for your cashback.

Therefore if you pay up-front for the year you can claim your cashback immediately.  If you pay monthly or quarterly you can claim your cash back in 12 months time.

What do you need to do to get your cashback?

Firstly subscribe to one of our X3 services.

You will need to prove you are current birdnet pager customer at the time you sign up with RBA.  A copy of a bank statement showing your most recent payment to Birdnet will be adequate for this purpose.

You can apply for your cashback when you have paid your first year's birdnews charges.  Simply write to us with proof of your Birdnet membership at the time you subscribe to RBA and we will send you your cashback.

If you fail to provide proof of your Birdnet membership £79 will be deducted to cover the cost of the pager.

Terms and Conditions

  • Only available to current customers of Birdnet

  • If you fail to provide proof of your Birdnet membership £79 will be deducted from your cashback.

  • Cashback will only be paid out when a full years birdnews charges have been paid for.

  • Your initial contract length is 24 months

  • 3 months notice is required if you wish to cancel the pager contract

  • The pager remains the property of RBA and must be returned at the end of your contract

  • You should allow 28 days to receive your cashback from the date we receive your application..

  • Peace of mind Insurance: As part of the X3 launch offer, everyone who signs up for an X3 pager between 18th June 2009 and 31st July 2009 will get free redundancy cover for the period of the initial contract. If you get made redundant before your initial contract is completed, then you can send the pager back and be relinquished for any remaining fees due that arose after the date of your redundancy. Fees that arose before the date of redundancy are not covered. Fees will only be waived from the point at which the pager is received back at RBA.
